Space academy

Manik exits the jam room after practice along with Fab 5 ,they are going towards the cafeteria. Manik is slightly ahead of them when suddenly rose petals start falling upon him. He is shocked and looks upwards. Nandini comes in front of him.

N : manik, would you like to go to the fresher's party with me?

Manik is shocked, surprised, happy, nervous ,everything at the same time.
He is unable to say anything and thinks he heard her wrong. Meanwhile nandini is nervous about his answer and slightly amused at his reaction. Fab 5 are controlling their laugh. Navya is making a video. Adi is glaring at him. Preeti is chuckling seeing Manik flustered in front of her best friend.

M : what

N : I asked would you be my date to the party?

C : Bol bhi manik warna nandini ko koi aur le jayega.

Manik comes out of his trance on hearing this

M : yes, yes I will be ur date princess.

The whole college is shocked hearing it while Adi leaves the place. Nandini in her happiness hugs Manik tightly and before he can react gives a peck on his cheek and goes away smiling.

Mu : manik close ur mouth, she is gone.

A : Aww guys look Manik is blushing so hard.

C : u have become a tomato manik.

Manik just tries to glare at him but still can't stop himself from smiling, so just leaves the place to save himself from his friends teasing.

Cafeteria

Everyone is sitting together at the table. Manik and nandini are sitting opposite to each other. Aditya is sitting near to Manik ,thanks to everyone only leaving one place for him which doesn't go unnoticed by manik. Nandini is avoiding eye contact with Manik as she doesn't know what to speak after their encounter sometime back.

P : why is everyone behaving like this, shouldn't we be happy our ship is moving.

Nandini glares at her while manik looks confused.

Sh : what ship?

N : nothing

Na : anyways I have 20k + views on Manik and nandini's vedio in just fifteen minutes . We have so many comments. Are u guys following me?

Hearing this Manik gets a smile on his face while nandini starts blushing. Not able to take the stares any more she gets up and leaves the cafeteria. Aditya turns towards Manik's while the rest of them are busy in their own talks.

Ad : I have let this happen, doesn't mean I have forgotten anything manik. This is just for my princess. U better behave

M : u know nothing that princess doesn't like will ever happen. She is far more important than any other thing.

Manik then gets up and leaves behind nandini. He sees nandini going and pulls her with him.

Staircase

N : what the.... Manik what are u doing?

M : I need to talk to u princess.

N : talk.. What talk

M: nandini what was it all about

N: what about

Nandini doesn't look into his eyes.

M: since when did u not look into my eyes before saying. Nandini u asked me because of ur plan to make me nd adi friends again right.

Nandini is speechless and is also surprised to see how well manik knows her. Which brings a small smile on her face.
She looks into eyes and nods yes.
Manik is disappointed to know that but he just knew that right now nandini does not feel anything for him except for friendship,or at least that is what he thinks. Seeing nandini sad he spoke

M : princess, it's OK I get it

N: I am sorry manik. And before u ask this sorry is because I asked u out for a reason, not because I asked u.

Manik doesn't seem to understand what she means. Seeing his confused face nandini just holds his hands in her and says

N: tumhare saath nahi jaati to kiske saath jaati. Ya but if u have anyone else in mind u can tell me.

Nandini teases him and smirks while manik has a lopsided grin on his face.

M: princess now u are teasing me. But yes u are correct i don't have anyone else.

N: anyone Haa, fine then why didn't u ask me.

M: aree puchta naa, u did not give me any chance

N: oh ho chance, don't make up cause I know that tum nahi puchte u are too afraid of my reaction

Manik steps closer to nandini and speaks near her ear. His breath is fanning her face and she is just looking at him

M: what kind of reaction should I expect then

N <blushes> keep thinking. For now make sure ur date enjoys the evening.

M : this will be ur best evening nandini.

N : that we will see

Nandini again kisses on his cheek catching him off guard and runs from there.
Manik stands there smiling and leaves before anyone sees there.
