Manik's birthday was gone and now was time for the aftermath. Be it in relationships or the social position. Next day newspaper was filled with articles covering the evening. Manik and nandini's picture while cutting the cake had also created a buzz. Along with this the announcement of shivaay murthy's engagement was quite a news too.

Nandini was looking at the newspaper sitting on her bed. She smiles reading the article about how it was a successful evening. When preeti entered her room.

N : hey bestie

Preeti had a sad expression on her face, making a friend make way onto nandini's forehead.

N : what happened

P : I hate this. Why do we catch feelings. And even if we do why can't everything be easy.

N : are you going to tell me

P : go look out

Nandini went out of the room, and could clearly see adi and Ruhi studying together. They were laughing and sitting together, the distance between them too less. She had a thoughtful expression on her face and then went inside.

N : don't worry I will handle it

P : Nandu don't do anything stupid

N : I can do whatever I want, to reach the goal. Just watch

Nandini enters the gates of the college alone, since she had forced adi to give a ride to preeti. She had decided that from now on she was going to make them spend time with each other.

She could see everyone gazing at her. Students forming a way for her to pass. She smiled seeing her position in the college. Nandini was the princess of the murthy clan and was well used to attention.

She enterd the teacher's lounge to meet Aditya's business professor.

N : hello sir I need to talk to you

Professor : how can I help you

N : the partners you have made in your lecture, I need you to change them

The professor looks at her shocked. While she smiled sweetly.

Professor : I don't make them, students choose on their own.

N : then start making from today. And yes the partners are to be put together the way I want

Professor : miss murthy, why do you think I will do this

N : because I know the trustee very well, because my one phone call can make you lose your job.

The professor gulps while nandini does not lose her calm demeanor. Maintaining her smile she puts a hand on his desk

N : put Adi and preeti together. Same with Ruhi and aryaman. Am I clear

Nandini continually looks while the professor nods.

N : perfect. Have a good day

Namdini leaves the room, happy with her achievement. She knew it was an easy task.

Getting out she saw Mukti standing alone, she goes towards her.

N : hi

Mu : nandini, I thought you weren't coming today.

N : oh I had some work. Why are you standing alone.

Mu : nothing

N : Mukti I know we aren't that great of friends, but you can still talk to me.

Mu : actually Alia is behaving weird. She has become inseparable from Ruhi.

N : you are afraid for your friendship

Mukti nods and nandini adores a sympathetic face.

N : Mukti you know, maybe it's just the face that Alia is able to relate to Ruhi, perhaps there mutual adoration for fashion. Just because you start growing close to a new person in your life, doesn't mean you forget those who are already present. Give her time she will come around. And until then you can also make new friends, someone who has the same interests as you. People change, so does their company.

Mu : you're right. I should start talking to new people.

Namdini smiles at her and Mukti smiles back. Navya comes towards them skipping happily.

N : you are the first person I met since morning who is happy

Na : of course I am ,I have gained so many new people following my blog, because of you. I had the inner details of yesterday and what's going on between manan. Believe me so many people have come up to me asking about you both.

They start walking towards the cafeteria.

N : atleast someone is having a good day.

Navya and Mukti start talking about her blog, while nandini goes ahead searching for Manik.

Cafeteria

Ruhi and Alia were sitting together in the cafeteria chatting.

Al : you know my mom was so happy that I impressed those fashion designers last night.

Ru : it was amazing talking to them. Like seeing those dreams we have as someone else's reality.

Al : but that's not the only reason you are smiling today is it

Ru : you got me. I and adi had a study date

Alia smiled at her friend's happiness, encouraging Ruhi

Al : congrats

Ru : I know he likes me, just that nandini is trying to push preeti towards adi

Al : I don't think nandini is bad, maybe a bit spoiled. But they again aren't we all

Ru : I hate preeti. Who does she think she is trying to snatch Adi, just because nandini is his best friend. Adi and I are meant to be

Al : right .and she also danced with Adi yesterday

Ru : I wanted to dance with me, but on second thought aryaman wasn't bad either. He is funny, he makes me laugh while Adi makes me smile.

Ruhi grins at her, white dhruv comes at sits beside Alia

Ru : I have to submit my project. Catch you later Alia

She leaves and Alia turns to keep her head on dhruv's shoulder.

D : you should not encourage her. There are great chances that Adi doesn't feel anything for her

Al : I know, but maybe just like manik and nandini

D : it's different

Al : is it really. And if nandini had not returned, then preeti wouldn't even be in our lives and so true would be only Adi and Ruhi.

Alia keeps her point, but then seeing the time leaves for her lecture. After her being gone dhruv speaks to himself

D : but then without nandini there would be no our.
