The drive back was a peaceful one, with nandini still lost in the melody of Manik's song and Manik taking in the peaceful aura due to her presence.

As soon as they reached home, adi came and hugged nandini tightly.

Ad : where did u go princess, I got so worried?

N : I was being bored so just went out with Manik.

Ad : if that was so, u should have told me instead of going, and manik I don't expect anything else from you, always careless.

Manik was about to say something but nandini speaks trying to avoid another fight.

N : adi it was all me, please let it go.

Adi nods looking at nandini, while manik looks angry.

Nandini holds Manik's hand in order to calm him down and drags him towards the sofas, everyone follows.

C : friends, let's not fight and do something interesting.

Nandini smiles on hearing the word friends, after all her efforts were being fruitful.

N : let's party.

P : but I don't feel like going to a club.

N : who said anything about club, a normal party on the terrace. Drinks, games and fun.

Everyone nods in approval and they move towards the terrace.

Aditya starts the music while manik arranges drinks.nandini starts dancing first soon all the girls join them.
The boys are standing near the table with drinks and watching the girls. Manik's eyes are just upon nandini seeing her smiling and laughing.

Ad : manik, eyes off princess , I want u to stay away from her.

M : and why do think it matters what u want.

Ad : she is my sister and I haven't forgotten anything.

M : why do u always have to make it look like it was my mistake?

Nandini notices manik and adi having an argument and drags preeti towards them before things get out of hand .

N : hey boys

Manik and Aditya who were throwing daggers at each other with their eyes smile slightly on seeing her. Nandini gestures to preeti to take adi away so she pulls him towards the dance floor.

M : entered at the right time.

N <smirking slightly >: when am I ever late

Manik just hums in approval while nandini snatches the drink from its hands and bringing it to her lips. Manik looks at her shocked.

M : princess it was alcohol

N : u think I am some naive girl who can't handle one drink. Newsflash manik malhotra nandini murthy doesn't get drunk easily. At least give me some credit I lived in America.

M <slightly angry >: how did u learn drinking.

N : chill manik, friends and parties, not exactly the good girl u know.

Saying this nandini gulps another glass. She is now getting a bit tipsy.

M : nandini you should not drink so much.
