One month later

Murthy mansion
Nandini's room

Nandini is standing in front of the mirror, doing her hair. She smiles looking at herself and is happy with her look. Taking her bag she moves towards the door, all ready for the college.

It's been four weeks since manik left nandini alone in that room, shocked and worried about what had happened. But gradually that worry turned to anger and now she is trying to get past all of it.

Everyone in the household knows something has gone wrong between manik and nandini, so do their friends. As a result no one takes his name in front of her, avoiding talking about him to her altogether. Preeti being nandini's best friend knows exactly what happened and has been with her through out the past month.

Adi being worried about nandini, has gotten closer to preeti as she is the one nandini talks to most. Adi and preeti are coming together and once again nandini being the medium although unknowingly.

Shivaay and anika have been to their honeymoon and nandini not wanting to spoil her brother's newly married life, by dumping her problems, acts like everything is well. Although shivaay does have a slight idea that Manan are not on good terms.

Their parents were here almost for a week after the wedding, for the post wedding rituals and ishita helping anika settle down. But now they are back to their professional commitments, rarely being at home.

Going downstairs nandini joins Adi and preeti for breakfast, while preeti smiles, adi looks worried. He has been at edge around her for a while now, but nandini always shrugged off his behavior thinking he is just worried about her and Manik's break up.

Looking at him she gives him a good natured smile, trying to calm his nerves down, but that does nothing ,instead bringing a few more frowns on his face. Before nandini could question him he speaks up

Ad : I have an errand to run, so u take preeti to the college today princess.

P : so early in the morning, does it have to do something with the office

Ad : something like that

Adi then hurries off to leave, but does kiss nandini's forehead before leaving and muttering a bye to preeti, who huffs in response. Nandini although is in her world pushing the food in her plate. Even though she tries, she just can't seem to forget that morning. How she had cried, desparetly called Manik for fifteen days after that. Asked for him to Raj and niyonika too. But all she received in answer was that he told them he had work to do.

Yes, the past month Manik had been out of India, not showing his face to anyone and neither contacting with his friends as far as she knew. All her messages were read but unreplied, same with all those voicemails she had left him. Some asking what happened, begging to be back, to talk to her, proclaiming her love again. But the last few were when her patience had worn thin and she had shown her anger and hurt.

After the breakfast, nandini and preeti go to her car, while nandini sits in the driving seat and preeti shot gun. They drive off to college

Nandini's car enters the gates of the college and she parks at her reserved spot. Getting down she looks around for her friends, as it was still time for the first lecture.

The college students had gathered after a week of Manik's Dissapearence that Manik and nandini weren't on good terms, when the latter refused to talk about him at all. This had shocked some students and specially their friends, as for the beginning they had never seen manik and nandini fighting . Some brushed it off as lover's quarrel, while navya's blogs was filled with comments and articles whether finally it was quits between manan.

A few were happy that nandini was single now and they had a chance, but one was purely ecstatic. Madhyam was happy that nandini seemed to be so angry at Manik, the reason unknown. And he had now gotten a chance to be the friend who helps the girls pick up the broken pieces of her heart. Also nandini, who was so hurt by manik, tried to find a companion in madhyam. Since he was the only one who still seemed to be at her side.

Manik was the reason, nandini had a bond with Fab 5 . Therefore with Manik gone, they too hardly talked to each other. Sitting on the same table in the cafeteria and some casual greetings, was all that was left of their friendship.

Cabir and Mukti were worried about Manik dissaperimg and had tries various times to contact him, but reached dead end. Alia and dhruv too were worried since the date of their contract with the label was arriving soon.

One hand where Fab 5 were worried about Manik, Ruhi here was jealous with the rapidly increasing closeness of Adi's and preeti, which also made her mad at nandini. Because nandini was the fuel to their relationship.

Aryaman was sad seeing Ruhi pining over Adi, and nandini always tried to cheer him up. Sometimes joking how they can be heart broken together.

Amongst this harshad also had been a genuine friend to nandini trying to make her smile and laugh.

Walking towards where aryaman and Harshad were standing, she wishes them good morning. Preeti to comes and stands by her side . Chatting about the new day as nandini's back is turned towards the parking lot, suddenly students go quite looking at a particular direction.

Preeti is worried and so are aryaman and harshad.

They look at Aditya's car which has just stopped, and manik climbing out of it. Fab 4 rush to greet him, and manik smiled at seeing his friends after so long. By now nandini too has turned and walked a few steps ahead to see who the person is, who has got everyone whispering. As soon as Fab 4 step back, nandini's face goes through a midrad of emotions. Ranging from happiness to seeing him fine, to hurt, finally settling on anger.

While nandini is going through this Manik's eyes connect with hers. There is an underlying emotion in his eyes, but other than that his face his void.

Madhyam seeing this as a chance, walks up to nandini and wraps one arm around her waist. Nandini is shocked at this, glaring she removes his arm, then looks around at everyone staring at her, along with Manik and adi.

Now she knows why Adi was behaving weirder than usual.

Not thinking much, she turns and leaves at once. Preeti following her. Adi's voice can be heard telling everyone to mind their own buisness and show's over. While manik still stands rooted to his place and his pain clearly visible on his features

So it's been a month, and there have been a great changes.

Manik after being MIA all the while, is now back. Let's see if there are explanations.

Nandini is very angry, do u think her reaction is justified?
