The ride back to college was a silent one, all the way Manik and adi stole glances at nandini who was quite lost in her own thoughts. They even looked at each other weirdly.

After they game down nandini wasn't ready to leave Manik's hand, therefore Adi sat in the back, while manik drove. Sitting beside him on the passenger seat nandini never left his hand.

Soon they enters the gates of space academy. Preeti upon seeing their car came and asked nandini.

P : where did you disappear to?

Manik and adi to got down and now they were all making a circle near the hood of the car.

M :nandini who is he?

Ad : and why is your fave like u saw a ghost

N : bestie it's him, Maddy

Ignoring Manik and adi, nandini looked at pretti who too like nandini got shocked upon hearing this

M : will anyone say something

Manik stood closer to nandini his arm around her shoulders. Side hugging her

N : remmember I once told you about my last crush and that few hours relationship.

Ad : what about him

P : it's Maddy

M : why are you worried about it then. It was past. He didn't hurt you did he nandini

Ad : say it princess and I will kill him

N : no it's just that

P : that he had this notion that he loves her

N : and he is obsessed

P : he used run around her back in America. Trying to woo her

Manik clenches his fists in jealously and anger. Nandini slowly parted them and entwines their fingers

N : manik we have nothing between us. I was just shocked to see him and I guess I over reacted.

P : and this time nandini, manik and adi are her e. I doubt he will do anything in front of them and specifically with u and Manik

N : u are right. I guess we should leave the topic

They agreed pretti and Adi walked to their class and manik and nandini were alone.

M : why were you so worried princess

N : Manik I don't want him to create problems between us.

M :princess no one can be there between us until we allow him to. It's always going to be us. You have nothing to fear

nandini stood on her tiptoes and kisses manik, he too kissed her back.

Later they both left towards their respective classes.

The rest of the day went well and nandini too got to know her plan had worked. Adi and preeti spent time together in the library, while she also saw Ruhi and aryaman on the bleachers working on the project.

Manik practices with Fab 5 and later both manik and nandini spent time together. She listened to his songs and they also stole a kiss here and there.

Today was another normal day, or it was supposed to be but somewhere even after talking to Manik about Maddy, she was nervous. Madhyam had not exactly been a bother before and sometimes it was also flattering for nandini how much he liked her. But that was when nandini had no feelings for Manik and now her only thought was manik and Maddy had no chance.
