Chance Perez{Part 2}

Lauren's Pov:

It's about 2 weeks later from the incident with my dad Chance.

Me and Gabe got an A+ on our project but I'm still grounded.

The only time I'm allowed out the house is going to school.

Otherwise I can't leave.

But today I have a date with Gabe. That's right my crush asked me out.

I'm supposed to be me meeting him at the ice cream shop at 5pm and its 4pm right now.

I just have to figure out how to sneak out with my dad seeing me.

I finally figure it out.

I'll sneak out from my window and climb onto the tree branch and climb down from there.

I already have my outfit on that I'm wearing.

Black high waisted shorts and this cute crop top and my black Vans.

Its about 4:30 now so I decide to put my plan in motion.

I grab my phone and open up my window. From there the only way is down.

So I carefully climb down the tree safely and then once I get to the ground I grab my penny board and start skateboarding to the ice cream shop that's about 15 minutes away.

~15 minutes later~

About 15 minutes later I arrive at the ice cream shop and walk in and see Gabe sitting at a table by himself.

So I walk over to him and sit down.

"Hey Gabe" I say

"Hey Lauren" Gabe says with a cute smile

And then he takes my hand and we walk over to the place to order our Ice cream.

I get mint chocolate chip and Gabe gets cookies and cream.

And then once we get our Ice Cream we sit down and just start talking.

~Meanwhile at the house~

"LAUREN, LAUREN" Chance shouts

And then he walks upstairs to see that Lauren is nowhere to be found.

He finds a note on her desk that has the address of where she went.

Chance goes downstairs and grabs his car keys and starts driving to the Ice Cream shop.

"She is going to be grounded for life" Chance says angrily

"She better not be hanging out with Gabe" Chance says

Chance finally gets there and walks in and sees Lauren and Gabe laughing and holding hands.

"Lauren what the heck are you doing?" Chance says

"Dad what are you doing here?" Lauren says

"That's your dad?" Gabe says

"Yeah" she replys looking down

Lauren's Pov:

Me and Gabe were laughing when all of a sudden I her someone scream my name.

It's my dad.

"Lauren what the heck are you doing?" my dad says

"Dad what are you doing here?" I say

"That's your dad?" Gabe says

"Yeah" I reply looking down

"Your coming home with me right now" My dad says as he's grabbing my arm.

I wave at Gabe and he waves back as I'm being pulled away.

Then drive home was dead silent because I know if I say something I'm going to be yelled at.

But I know I'm going to be yelled at anyway when I get home.

We finally get home and I walk in the house and run up to my room.

"Lauren come down here" My dad says

I then get up off my bed and drag my feet knowing what's coming to me.

Being grounded for life.

I get downstairs and see my dad sitting there with an angry look on his face.

"What were you thinking, sneaking out to be with a boy?" My dad says

"I don't know Gabe asked me out on a date and I said yes so sneaking out was the only way that I could see him, I'm sorry" I say

"It's ok Lauren but you know your grounded for life" My dad says

"Yeah, I'm sorry" I say

And then my dad hugs me and I hug him back.

"I'm sorry Lauren it's just I don't like it when you hang out with boys but I guess it's just a part of being older since your 17" My dad says

"Yeah, I understand I'm really sorry" I say

"It's ok, how about we watch a movie?" My dad says

"How about you lighten my punishment" I say

He look at Me.

"No, ok" I say

And then my dad goes through the Netflix options and pick Moana.

I lay on the pilliow and fall asleep during the movie.

"Night Lauren" My dad says

"Night" I reply

Hey I might be grounded for life. I may never be able to have a boyfriend but at least me and my dad made up and I'm happy.
