Ingrid's POV

Things were getting scary at Hogwarts. There was something dangerous on the roam and it seemed to be claiming muggle-borns. It had claimed Mrs Norris, by that I mean petrify but I couldn't help but worry.

Penelope is a muggle-born. This means that she is probably on this monsters hit list. It was making me nervous and jittery. Despite this sudden tension, the rumours carried on. Even the one about the rat, it still amazes me. Sometimes I wonder how dumb people can be. I don't fuck rats!

I told Penelope about my worries and she constantly reassured me. She told me that the monster can't get her that easy and also that she will be fine. I don't believe her. I would be shitting my pants constantly if I was in her position. The worst part was that no one knows what this monster could be. I just hope that if this monster does get Penelope it petrifies her and doesn't kill her. Penelope might not be my best friend but she was pretty close. I cared about her.

I have been avoiding Camille, Oliver had been guiding me down other corridors every time I see her coming. Katie was also let out of the hospital wing, there is a constant tension between Camille and Katie. I wouldn't blame them if a fight started, however, I would obviously want Katie to win. Camille is a bitch!

It was a few days later that we couldn't avoid Camille. We had tried but we all stood in a long line and stared at Camille with her posse. Penelope seemed nervous but Oliver and Katie were fuming. I thought that steam could be leaving their ears, I wouldn't be surprised, I'd be angry if I had antlers growing out of my head.

"What do you think of these attacks, Ingrid?" Camille says in a smug way.

I look at her, there's a pretty obvious answer. "I think that they're terrible!" I exclaim. I already know what she is going to say. She believes in pureblood supremacy. She'll be glad that Muggle-borns are being attacked. I wasn't prepared, however.

"Well, I think they're good. I can't wait until this monster kills you. I'd rather you died than a mudblood!" She snarled.

I have to admit, Camille was being particularly harsh today. I don't think that Katie was taking this very well. I spotted Dumbledore, however.

He was lurking in the background, observing the situation. Katie was not. Katie seemed to be out of control. All I saw was a fuming Katie running at Camille, and the rest is history. Katie jumped on Camille and punched her in the nose. I am pretty sure that her nose broke. Katie then hit Camille in the boob and stormed off.

I was sure that Dumbledore would do something but he stood there, almost in amusement. He didn't do a thing, I know that he knows Camille is bad news. I couldn't help but laugh though, I could see a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Camille was stumbling around in anger, she was demanding a healer but no one helped her. We wanted to see the biggest bully stumble around blindly, it made all of the torture seem better. I hope that her nose was now crooked, that would make my day.

I look at Oliver and Penelope and we just run, we didn't want to be blamed for this. We also needed to find Katie and congratulate her on her achievement. I actually enjoyed that way more than I expected. Thank you, Professor Dumbledore, thank you for sparing Katie.

After an hour of searching, we found Katie sitting inside the Gryffindor Common room. I had got inside because Oliver knew the password. Katie also seems to be just as angry as she was an hour ago. We congratulated her on how epic it was, she seemed quite pleased with herself. If I was in that situation, I would be too. Maybe next time Katie can perform the bat-bogey hex on Camille. The punch was good but we needed more permanent results.

After Penelope and I congratulated Katie we headed back to our common room. We talked for a while before falling asleep in our four-poster beds.
