Warning: be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster

Sami crawled out of bed and headed over to the bathroom to do her normal routine for the day. She came out and noticed her daughter, Tyla sitting on the bed with the remote in hand watching her cartoon shows.

She turned her head and smile happily to Sami. "Good morning," Tyla said to Sami.

Sami replied with a nod, acknowledging her daughter before heading over to the closet to get change out of her sleep clothes and into something she could feel comfortable in.

While in the closet searching for something to wear, Sami yelled out to Tyla to wash up and change out of her clothes as well. They were getting ready to head over to Jungs' for their weekly get together.

Tyla placed the remote down and hopped off the bed and headed out of the room and back to her room to change. During that time, Sami tried her best to compose herself and not cry even though deep inside she was breaking down.

It was thirty minutes later when Sami finally stepped out of the walk-in closet and was now wearing a forest green tunic top and black skinned tight jeggings. Right at the same time, Tyla happily walked back into the room wearing almost the same thing. "We're going to eat at grandma and grandpa's house, so don't worry about grabbing anything from downstairs."

Tyla nodded before turning around and heading downstairs with Sami following behind her. During that time, Sami kept checking her phone but of course, didn't see any new messages. All she noticed was a reminder message about going over to her in-laws.

By the time, Sami got downstairs Tyla was already by the front door slipping on her sneakers and Sami did the same as well. "Ty, grab your emergency bag for me, please."

Tyla stared confused at her mother, wondering why she would want their emergency bag? To her, there were a few reasons but she obediently did what she was told and headed over to the coat closet and grabbed the emergency bag that was located on the floor.

"Okay, I got it, mommy, but why do you need it?" Tyla asked. She waited patiently for her mother to answer her question but Sami ignored the child and open the front door to allow them to head out.

Tyla shrugged her shoulders and sling the bag over shoulders and followed behind her mother.

Sami and Tyla walked the paved path until they were now standing in front of Sami's vehicle. Honestly, Sami hated driving the car especially in Seoul, so she decided it would be best if they just catch a cab. She turned smiling at her daughter, "how about we catch a cab like old times, hmm?"

"I guess so," the young girl answered back to her mother. Sami pulled out her phone and called a taxi to pick them up at a convenient location.

A park of course.

While waiting, Sami allowed Tyla to play and enjoy the atmosphere as she pulled out her phone and clicked out the photo gallery icon. She gives a small smile as she swiped through photos of them having such a wonderful time and a different place.

As she did so, she felt wetness hit the side of the thumb. She moved her fingers up to her eyes to realized that she was crying. She started to softly chuckle as she looked up at the sky and thought about how things could end up like this.
