Chapter 14

I looked around the room. It was so quiet. It was strange. "Why can't I do anything anymore? Will I always be this weak from now on?" I asked myself. "No cause I'm gonna make you stronger Velie!" Asta said walking to me. "You better be ready cause I'm gonna make you tough no matter how much training!" He said confident. Yuno sat next to me and put a hand agaisnt mine. "Velie" he said. He gave me and hug. "I will find a way to get your mana back" Yuno said. "Thanks guys. I know we can achieve anything when we do it together" I said. Asta hugged my other side as I smiled with tears. Now I was to weak. I couldnt even protect them anymore. I needed to get up. I needed to get stronger so I could protect everything I love. "When do I get to go?" I asked. "Tomorrow!" Asta said excited. "You get to live with me!" He mentioned.

I smiled. "Good. That means we can train extra hard together" I said. "Yeah!" Asta cheered. Yuno looked off into space. "Yuno?" I asked. "Yeah?" He replied. "Your okay right?" I asked. "Yeah. Just kinda gonna miss you" Yuno said quietly. "Yuno" I said hugging him. "I will visit I promise" I said. "You better" he said hugging me back. "Now I'll be back tommorow to get you!" Asta said. "Yeah we better get leaving" Yuno said. They both gave me one last hug before leaving me there. I smiled and laid down. Going to a dreamless sleep.

I woke up the next day and yawned. I got up weakly and stretched more. Julius walked on with a bag. "I packed some of you stuff from your room" Julius said. I looked at there was nothing in it. "Really?" I asked. "As in your packing your stuff cause I know you have a privacy issue" he said. I blsuhed embaressed. "Bye!" I said running off. I made it to my room completely worn out already. I opened my closet and started packing my clothes. I set the bag down and sighed. "I hope Asta is able to teach me" I said. I heard a knock and turned. "Yeah?" I asked. "Hey kid lets get going" Yami said. I opened the door and looked up at him. I picked up my bag. "Thank you for taking me in" I said. "Whatever kid" he replied. Finral looked at me. As if he was checking me out of course. I rolled my eyes and walked to him. "If your so busy checking me out you could be taking me on a date instead" I said winking. He looked shocked as his cheeks got slightly pink. I smiled and walked behind Yami as we headed toward Julius's Office. We got there and Julius automatically hugged me. "Stay safe Velie" he whispered. "I will Julius. I trust captain Yami because you do" I replied. Julius smiled. "That's my V" he said. "Bye JC" I said ad we left.

Once we made it in front of the Black Bulls hideout I was tackled by Asta. "Velie! We start training  in an hour!" He said. I nodded. "Yes sir" I said. We walked inside and Yami got everyone attention. "From now in we have been asigned a mission fromnthe wizard king to protect this now magicless idiot" Yami said. I glared slightly but shrugged. "How did you lose your magic?" Noelle asked. "I was gangs up by a lot of White coats and they stole my Grimore and mana. Because of a cure bestowed upon me I'm constantly in pain from nightmares that are like reality" I explained. "We have to protect her as well each train her to become stronger. That way she's not comoletely usless" Yami said. "Dont cause any trouble with her she's the wizard kings daughter pretty much" Yami mentioned. Everyone gave their response and walked off. Asta grabbed my hand and dragged me towards a room. Once down a hall or something he opened a door. a nice simple room there. "Thanks Asta" I said. "No problem Velie!" he said smiling brightly. I smiled back and set my stuff down. I looked down. I missed Yuno and the captain already. I missed everyone. But I had another best friend and he was one of the greatest.

I unpacked my stuff and walked outside to meet Asta. "Alright Velie! Let's see how much you can do without training!" He said. I nodded. "Yes sir!" I replied to him. Asta threw a slow fist at me. I dodged and he threw another but a little fast. I barely dodged that one. I took a few steps back as he sent another one at me. It was much faster. I didn't dodge and he hit me in the face. I fell to the ground. "Velie im sorry!" He said looking down at me. I got up and looked him in the face. "Again" I said. "But-""Asta I can take it" I said cutting him off. He nodded and sent a kick at me. I dodged his kick and dodged a following punch. I went to punch him but when it hit her just looked at me. "So your okay with speed! We need to work on strength!" He said smiling widely. I nodded as he got on the ground. "Do some push ups!" He said doing some. I got on the ground. I did about five before I was down. I growled and pushed my self to do more. I did about five more before I was down again. I looked at my violently shaking arms and growled. "Not yet" I said doing another. I started to push myself to do more. After about doing in all twenty I stopped. "Velie you did great!" He said. I panted and sweat dripped from my face. "Now let's go on a run!" He said running. I took off after him. He moved fast but I still managed to catch up. Speed wasn't a problem. Even if my legs were in pain they werent that weak.
