Agent Sun

Beep Beep Beep

I don't remember setting an alar-

Sun shot up. The beeping noise grew faster and louder.

She looked around the unfamiliar surroundings.

A hospital?

She looked down at herself and saw that she was in a white hospital gown, her hair was in a braid- which she didn't remember doing.

What surprised her was the sight of five sleeping boyband members. They were all seated, their heads all laid in the foot of Sun's hospital bed.

She almost panicked, but then she remembered all the events that just happened.

The fire. Where will we stay now?

The beeping noise slowed down.

I can't stay here.

She saw a button beside her that read, NURSE.

Without a second thought, she pressed the button with her right hand, seeing as her left arm was rapped in gauze.

Within seconds, a nurse in her twenties came barreling through the door.

"Yes- oh good, you're awake!"

With the loudness of her voice, Sun wasn't the only one awake.

The five boys shot up.

They all looked at Sun and she swore that she saw happiness in their eyes when they did so.

She ignored that fact.

As the nurse turned to leave, to get a doctor, presumably, Sun spoke.

"Ma'am, I'd like to be released today." Her voice was hoarse, probably from not speaking for hours.

As the nurse turned to protest, she cut her off.

"Today." She spoke with power.

Her almost-white eyes bore into the blonde nurse's soul.

The nurse nodded nervously, "Yes Miss."

Then she left.

Sun looked at the boys, "Are you alright?"

They nodded, even Corbyn.

"I'm pretty sure I was knocked out, so there's absolutely no way I would have been able to get out of there-- who got me out?" She asked.

The boys looked at Jonah with an accusative glance.

"That would- uh be me, Agent Sun." He looked down, scratching his head.

Sun nodded and gave them a small smile.

"I appreciate your gesture. But next time, please don't do that. Your lives are more important than mine."

The boys were silent.

"How could you say that?" Zach spoke, his voice cracking as he looked at the blonde girl.

The boys and Sun looked at Zach, shocked he spoke.

Her brows furrowed.

Before Sun could reply, the boy continued, tearing up.

"I- I know it's not my place to say, and that I have no right. B-but, your life is just as important as ours. And it pains me to see someone who gives absolutely no importance about their own. I understand that it's your job b-but, it's--"

Sun cut him off with a small smile.

Two smiles in a day, Sun. That's new.

"My job is to keep you safe, Zach."

She continued, "So, I will do everything and anything in my power to comply."

Zach nodded with a sad expression.

"How long was I out?" She asked the boys.

"Two hours." Daniel mumbled.

Two hours?! The boys were unprotected for two hours?!

The nurse came back with a doctor in tow.

She left after the doctor came in.

"Miss Sun. Before we release you, may we please get your full name?"

The grey haired man seemed off to Sun. His eyes held this knowing evil glint, which set off alarm bells in her head.

She looked at her hospital gown, and silently thanked the heavens for it wasn't thin, rather it was basically a sleeping gown, with a proper zipper and whatnot.

"I don't see how that's necessary, Doctor." She spoke calmly, formulating a plan inside her head.

She saw the doctor's smirk falter.

But then the smirk came back when he started to reach for something in his pocket.

Sun was alert, and she knew exactly what she had to do.

She took out the IV from her left hand, near the pulse, ignoring the pain as she did so.

She charged at the man in front of her.

"Boys run!"

The boys remained still.

Sun let it go for the meantime. They were dead when they leave for somewhere else.

The man successfully took out his gun before Sun could get to him.

She froze mid-step.

My IV wounds hurt.

"Boss wasn't kidding when they said you we're smart."

Boss?

He pointed the gun towards the boys who were as pale as sheets of paper. He forgot to do one thing.

Sun sighed inwardly.

I didn't want to hurt you old man.

"One move and they die." He glared at Sun.

Sun grinned. "Sure. Whatever."

The man's demeanour faltered. "You don't care?"

His aim was about a foot to te left, away from the farthest boy now.

The boys looked lost.

"What's it to you?" Sun then growled.

She kicked off the gun from the man and left it flying in the air.

She kicked his stomach and sent him down to the ground.

She caught the gun with her right hand and turned the safety off.

She aimed the gun at him then stepped forwards.

"Quick tip, next time you go round holding people at gun point, turn the safety off."

She then aimed for his head and let out two gunshots. His brains were on the floor.

He was dead.

"I'm gonna faint."

"Oh fuck, Jack!"
