Agent Sun

I stared at the food given to me by Zach.

Chipotle? What's a Chipotle?

It looked like shawarma to be honest. There were veggies, meat, and what looked like special sauce.

I shrugged, might as well eat it now.

I took a bite and my eyes widened. I chewed on the saucy goodness and moaned.

It tastes fucking amazing.

Bite after bite, the taste was sensational.

I need to thank Zach tons of times for this later.

After eating, I went downstairs. It was already 6 pm. I saw the whole downstairs deserted which meant that they were in the backyard or something.

I went inside the kitchen and opted to fix up dinner. Since I wasn't able to cook for them earlier, Nick told me that they just ordered Chipotle.

I started gathering the ingredients and then I cooked.

After setting up the table, I went to the intercom connected to Nicholas' bedroom.

"Nick, kindly tell them to go down for dinner."

After hearing a faint yes I decided to make my way upstairs to leave them as they eat.

"Sun? Where are you going? Isn't it dinner time?" I heard a familiar voice say.

I spun around and made eye contact with Jonah.

"Yeah it is." I answered.

Behind him was Jack, Zach, Corbyn, and Daniel.

"Well, aren't you joining us?" The boy asked.

I saw Zach's pleading expression.

Why? Why did he care whether I ate or not?

Maybe it's because if I starve to death, they'll die as well due to the lack of a body fucking guard.

I sighed then nodded following after them as they made their way to the dinner area.

"Woah. Homemade food!" Zach ran towards the table and took a seat.

I smiled at the boy's antics.

"Thanks for this, Sun." He grinned at me.

I smiled at him, shrugging, "No problem."

We all took a seat. Corbyn, Daniel, and Zach were on the other side. While Jack, Jonah, and I were on the other.

The boys and I started to eat. I only took one cup of rice and a small serving of enchilada.

"So, Sun, how have you been?" The boy in front of me asked.

How have I been?

I shrugged, "Been good. Busier than ever though."

Zach grinned, "I didn't know you we're a Swiftie."

"A Swiftie? What's that? A race?" I asked.

I only knew of  4 major races, namely white/Caucasian, Mongoloid/Asian, Black, and Australoid. Was a Swiftie one of them?

Daniel's eyes widened, "You don't know what a Swiftie is?"

I stared at them and shook my head slowly.

"Should I be aware of what it is?"

"Yes you should!" Zach exclaimed.

The boys were surprised as to how Zach and I were all buddy-buddy. Well let me tell you this.
Give me food, and we're friends.

"Why?" I asked him with a teasing smile on my face.

"Because Taylor Swift is the bomb!"

A bomb?

I narrowed my eyes at him, "What's a Taylor Swift?"

The boys all looked at each other, shocked.

"Alright. Boys, Back to December." As soon as Jonah said those words, they burst into a song.

"You've been good, busier than ever." Zach sung, winking at me.

Oh it's from a song. My bad.

"Small talk, work and the weather." Jack sung.

"Your guard is up and I know why~" Daniel harmonized with Jack.

"Because the last time you saw me still burned in the back of your mind." Jonah sung.

"You gave me roses, and I left them there to die." Corbyn has a great voice.

Let's be honest here, these boys are talented.

"Alright so Taylor Swift's a song, I get it." I rolled my eyes.

Daniel laughed and shook his head, "Taylor Swift is the artist who sung that song."

"Oh." I laughed with him.

They all stopped doing what they were doing and looked at me.

"Did you just laugh?" Zach questioned.

"Uh- yeah. Why?"

Jonah grinned, "Oh no reason."

Corbyn shook his head, "You're finally warming up to us, princess."

I looked at him questioningly, so did the boys.

"Princess?" Jack asked.

I had my eyebrows raised.

No one has ever called me princess except him. I used to be called that before everything went downhill. My eyes stung.  For the first time since I met the boys, I ducked my head and looked down keeping my eyelids shut so the tears couldn't come out.

No, I can't cry.

I haven't done it in years. No.

The memories are killing me.

Corbyn coughed, "Yeah, got a problem with that, Avery?"

Jack scoffed but shrugged.

"Well, I have to go. Enjoy dinner."
I didn't finish dinner. Hopefully Nick will just call the on-call househelp we have to wash the dishes.

With one last glance at the boys, I turned and made my way to my room. But not before seeing the guilty look on Corbyn's face.
