Hi Canada.

We heard nurses and doctors panicking.

Machines weren't working.

TV's were off.

Lights were off.

Everyone was scared.

Is it peaceful to die in hospital? Oh, fuck it.

I looked over at Caitlin and she could barely open her eyes but she was alive. I push her hair out of her face as Ryan had his phone light on us.

"Where am I?" she asks in a soft tone.

"The hospital. Do you remember anything?"

"Not much. I remember a car and a broken wind shield, that's it." Ryan sighs as I look at him.

I look back at her.

"What's going on?"

"Storm caused the power to go out."

"It doesn't rain this bad in Canada."

Ryan and I chuckle lightly.

"I believe it's worse." I nod, telling her.

"Justin?"

"Yeah?"

"How long have you guys been here?"

"Since we heard you were in the hospital. Two days max."

"I was out for two days? - You were here the whole time?"

"Yeah."

"But you don't care about me."

 "Caitlin, I -"

One of the nurses runs in. The power comes back on. "That's our generator. We don't know how long it'll hold. Is she okay?"

"Yeah, she's fine."

She just nods and walks back out.

"You were saying?"

"Oh. Uh. I do care..about you. Even if we do hate each other."

"I think my bitchiness made me realize it'll make me end up here." She closes her eyes for a second.

Lucy's POV.

My mom lit some candles and we all huddle up in the living room.

Storms when the power goes out was my favorite moment.

It was the only chance we got to actually communicate with each other. To actually talk.

"I'm scared." Jade whispers.

My mom pulls her closer to her. Arden starts singing Russian Roulette by Rihanna.

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Is that song necessary for this?"

"Sorry." She stops and pulls her legs closer to her chest. "Are you going to tell me?"

"Tell you what?"

"What happened with Justin?"

"Justin came over?" Jade asks, smiling.

I groaned. "No, he didn't. Nothing happened with him."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"So he just came over so you could yell at him?"

"I thought you said he didn't come here." Jade pouts.

"He didn't! Jesus! Shut up about him, alright?"

They all stared at me. I look at Arden and sighed.

"He still loves her." I whisper to her.

"Who?"

"Caitlin. Even though, I think it's out of sympathy."
