35: You're back/Jandy

3rd person

Jack felt like crying. He often does. His boyfriend of five years was gone since one and a half year and every now and then the emotions came back to Jack.

When Andy joined the army both of them knew that it meant he would have to be away for some time. But still, when they got the message that Andy had to go and fight in a war, their world broke. The two lovers spent the last days together just cuddling and kissing.

When the day came Jack accompanied Andy to the train, which would bring him to the army airplane. They stood on the train station, hugging until the train arrived. Looking up, Jack realised what it meant and fell onto Andy crying. Andy hugged his boyfriend tight, kissing his temple. Forcing Jack to look up he pressed his lips against the ones of Jack one last time. "I love you", he said, before letting go and walking into the train. "I love you too", Jack whispered to the nothing infront of him, while heartbreaking sobs left his lips.

Jack didn't know when and if his boyfriend would come home. He lived with the fear of Andy being killed in the war. And it destroyed him inwardly. They couldn't text and call everyday, due to Andy's schedule and well in the war you never know what will happen next. Every time Jack's phone rang he jumped up immediately, not caring about the time or what he was doing, answering the phone. The two lovers would talk as long as possible, bringing each other up to date to what they did.

So now, Andy hadn't called Jack for about two weeks now. Jack was worried about his boyfriend, worried that something had happened to him. He could feel the tears welling up in his eyes, threatening to spill. Thinking about Andy was always emotional for Jack. He thought about all the beautiful times they had together before he had to go. He thought about how they met five years ago, about their first date and how magic it was. He thought about their first kiss. He couldn't stop himself from crying every time he did think about Andy.

Jack was at his lowest again, missing his boyfriend so much that it hurt. His friends tried their best to console him. Jack went to college every day, wearing a fake smile on his face. As soon as he came home though, he cried his eyes out, hoping to see Andy again. That Andy hadn't called in such a long time didn't help the situation at all.

One monday, Jack just had the worst weekend worrying about his boyfriend, he went to college, not knowing that this will probably be one of the best days of his life. In the classroom Jack sat down next to his friends, waiting for the teacher to arrive. When she eventually arrived she told her students that today they'll have a special guest.

When the door opened again a man with military uniform entered the classroom. As soon as Jack noticed who it was he jumped up, clasping his hands over his mouth, starting to cry. The man cried as well, while he opened his arms for Jack, who started running as fast as possible, jumping into his boyfriends' arms, wrapping his legs and arms around him. "Andy", he muttered. Jack nestled his face into the crook of Andy's neck, taking in his scent. Andy held him up by his bum, hugging his boyfriend as tight as he physically could.

Both boys cried, they couldn't believe they were actually back in each others arms. "Hey baby", Andy whispered into Jack's ear, making the younger boy shiver. After Andy set Jack back down on the floor gently he pulled back, admiring the beauty in front of him. Slowly he leaned in, letting their lips meet in a soft kiss. "You're back", Jack exclaimed happily after he pulled back. Andy just nodded.
