By the way, if anyone is wondering how far along Davina is she's nearly 5 months which means she has roughly about 2-3 months left until she gives birth as Asgardian pregnancies last between 7-8 months

The next day....

Davina's pov

I woke up with a kink in my back making me groan and I slowly sit up only for my eyes to widen as I notice my bump has grown drastically over night. Yes, I was already showing and all but my bump has sprouted out more which is actually normal. Some Asgardian women experience a random growth spurt during their pregnancy where one day their bump might be nonexistent or really small but then the next day it could be huge, which is what happened to me. I didn't really have a growth spurt when I was pregnant with the twins, yes my baby bump was a lot bigger and my bump grew at a steady pace and I actually started showing a lot earlier but with this pregnancy, I started showing a little bit later but now my bump has endured a growth spurt. It doesn't mean it's sped up my pregnancy, it's actually a sign the baby is very healthy and overall just something that happens sometimes with Asgardian pregnant women, it's also a sign that the baby might come early.

I'm nearly five months pregnant meaning I have more or less 2-3 more months left to go until this little bundle of joy arrives but perhaps it will come a little earlier if the sudden growth of my baby bump has anything to go by. Of course I hope it comes at an appropriate time, I don't want my baby to be born too early. 

I groan as I attempt to sit up with a bit of a struggle "oh lord my back kills" I groan before gently swatting at Kol as he's fast asleep, snoring away. Might be mean of me to wake him but hey I have a bad back and I'm carrying his child, if I'm going to suffer then he is too. "Kol wake your ass up" I say earning a groan of protest from him as he turns on to his stomach, mumbling nonsense into his pillow. I shake him "Kol, wake up" I say only to earn another load of protests "Kol, I'm going into labour" I say making him jolt up "what? It's too early" he says shaking his head and rubbing his eyes before looking at me "bloody hell, what is that?" he asks looking directly at my bump "what do you mean what is that? This is our child, you idiot" I retort glaring at him "sorry darling. I didn't mean it like that. Wow your bumps grown" he says lying back down but turning onto his side as he places a hand on my baby bump. "It's endured a random growth spurt over night" I say he smile softly "this is amazing. I love watching your baby bump grow bigger, it's rather magical knowing it's our child growing" he responds stroking my stomach. "It is beautiful isn't it?" I respond he hums in response as he leans down and kisses my stomach. "How are you doing in there hmm? I see you've grown some more, you made your mommy's bump grow at least two or three sizes" Kol says making me smile "we should get up. It's 8 am and the twins should be waking up soon" I say making him nod and sit up. "Alright, I volunteer to wake them up" he replies making me smile "okay, I'm gonna shower" I respond as I get out of bed. "Alright" he replies as he quickly checks through his phone before getting out of bed and leaving to go and wake the twins. I head into the walk in closet and grab some clothes before heading to the bathroom. I enter the bathroom and shut the door behind me.
