2nd: Picnic

Nagising ako dahil parang may mabigat na bagay na nakapatong sa mga hita ko. When I opened my eyes, I saw Jennie sleeping soundly beside me. Her mouth is slightly open while her right hand is hugging my torso habang nakapatong naman ang hita niya sa mga hita ko. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti seeing her beautiful face so close to me. I leaned forward to kiss the tip of her nose bago ako dahan dahang tumayo mula sa pagkakahiga ko. When I successfully get off the bed, ay agad kong kinuha ang relos ko na nakapatong sa bedside table. I looked at the time and saw that it's already 4 am. Last night was very memorable. We celebrated our anniversary again after two long years of being separated. We ate dinner and we watched movies. I was laughing at Jennie when we watched The Choice by Nicholas Sparks dahil iyak siya ng iyak simula ng maaksidente si Gaby yung bidang babae hanggang sa magkamalay na ulit yun at magkatuluyan sila ni Travis which is yung bida namang lalaki. Maganda yung movie kaya hindi ko rin naman siya masisisi kung bakit sobrang affected siya. I comforted her despite of me laughing at her. After watching 3 movies last night ay saka kami dinalaw ng antok. I asked Jennie to stay since gabi na rin naman kami natapos magmovie marathon. She texted Daddy Henry para magpaalam and guess what, masaya pa siya na hindi uuwi si Jennie nung nalaman niyang dito sa bahay magsestay ang anak niya. Sabi pa ni Dad she can stay with me hanggang bumalik siya sa New York.

I took time to go to the nearest market to buy some things. Naisip ko kasi na magpicnic kami dahil dati pa namin pinaplano but hindi namin magawa dahil sa mga busy scheds namin. And since I'm on a leave, I will take this time to be with her and surprise her everyday hanggang bumalik siya sa US. I put on my jacket and I kissed her forehead bago ako umalis. After 20 minutes of driving ay narating ko na ang pinakamalapit na market sa village namin. I bought some ingredients for a sandwich, chips, cookies, fruits, and bottled drinks. Pagtapos kong mamili ay agad na akong umuwi para maihanda ang lahat ng dadalin namin for this picnic. Gusto ko kasing makabalik ng mabilis at ayokong magising ang mahal ko ng hindi niya ko masisilayan sa tabi niya. When everything is complete, I went straight to the cashier para bayaran yung mga pinamili ko then I went home.

When I reached my house and successfully parked my car, I go straight to my room to check on Jennie and I can't help but smile when I saw her still sleeping soundly while hugging my pillow beside her. I kissed her forehead first bago ako pumunta ko sa walkin closet ko to took off my jacket at magpalit to a more comfortable clothes. I wore short shorts and an oversized white shirt then I went to the kitchen para ihanda na yung mga babaunin namin. I prepared a ham sandwich, boiled eggs, hotdogs, and made Jennie's favorite lemon juice and I put everything on a big picnic basket. Nang matapos ko nang ihanda ang mga pagkain ay kumuha naman ako ng mga blankets and throw pillows at iniligay ko yun sa likuran ng kotse ko. Pagtapos ay inihanda ko naman ang mga bikes na balak ko ring dalin namin. Yes, I have to bicycles here. One for me and the other one is for Chaeng. Madalas kasi kaming magbike kapag may time kami and as a form of exercise narin.

Once I settled everything in my car ay agad na akong bumalik sa kwarto para silipin kung gising na ang pinakamamahal ko pero bago ako umakyat ay kinuha ko muna ang isang puting rosas na nakapatong sa shotgun seat ng kotse ko. When I reached the room ay agad akong tumabi kay Jennie. Jennie was facing the other side of the bed. I tucked myself inside the duvet while Jennie flipped her position. She was now facing me. She hugged me but her eyes were still close. She snuggled closer to me samantalang I took that opportunity para yakapin naman siya ng mahigpit. Jennie suddenly open her eyes and she looke up on me. I smiled at her and she pouted her lips asking for a morning kiss. I didn't bother to give her one.

"Good morning love" she said with a cracked voice then she burried her face at the crook of my neck giving some kisses on it. I giggled with what she's doing. Aaminin ko, her kisses send shivers to my spine and made me want to pin her down under me and make love with her but I have to control my hormones coz if not, masisira lahat ng pinaghirapan ko today. I stretched my arm to reach for the white rose resting on the bedside table.
