[Nico DeJesus]

Nico's POV

I love newsies but I met so many people that I never have time to anything, today we are walking around a small town that I forgot the name of. All a sudden a little girl ran up to me, she look to be about four.

"Hello little one, where is your mommy?" Sky asked

All of a sudden a young women ran over to us.

"Lily, honey, don't run from mommy like that" She said

She picked the girl up and look at us, I smiled at her.

"You look young to be a mother" Ben said

Josh elbowed him and she laughed.

"Im 20, I got pregnant at 16." She said "He father left as soon as he found out, my parents kicked me out so I had to rent an apartment but we manage. Don't we honey?"

"Yes mommy" The little girl said

She put the girl down and handed her some money, the little girl smiled and ran off.

"She's a handful huh?" I asked

"Yes very" She said "My names Y/N." 

"I'm Nico" I told her

"Listen I have to go, here's my number us it" Y/N said

She handed me a slip of paper and walked away, I stod there blushing.

"Nico has a girlfriend" Ben chanted

"Ben you are such a child" I snapped

With that I headed to the hotel we were staying at, I got into my room and sat down on my bed.

"You good bro?" Dan asked

"Yes, No, I don't know" I resonded

"What's up?" Dan asked sitting next to me

"I met this girl today but she's a mother. I think I like her but I can't deal a four year old" I said

"Well, think of it like this, you get together with this girl then you are the father aspect in that kids life. She'll love you" Dan said

"Okay wow, wise words with Dan" I said

Dan laughed and went back to his phone.

Y/N POV

After Nico left a grabbed Lily's hand and we walked to the store. I put lily in a buggie and started to shop. Money is tight at the moment because my job doesn't have the best income but I'm making it due. As I was checking out I realized that I don't have enough money.

"Ma'am I'm afraid you don't have enough" The cashier said

"I know, can you take off the cookies and the milk?" I asked

"You still don't have enough" He said

"Umm then can you take off the bread and the cereal" I said

I had to take a bunch of stuff off leaving us with barely nothing. I grabbed Lily and took her to school. Once she was at school I headed back home. As I was walking I could feel my eyes tearing up, I'm not good enough to be a mother. I can't support Lily. I got back to the apartment and put the food away. Now it's time for work. I walked to the coffee shop I work at and headed off to work.

"Hello, welcome to wilds coffee what can I get you?" I asked

"Y/N?" A voice said

"Nico?" I said "what can I get you to eat or drink"

"A hot chocolate and a sandwich" Nico  told me

"Coming right up" I said

I made Nico's hot chocolate and started his sandwich. There aren't many people in the shop so I knew it was going to be a slow day. I handed Nico his food and took another order. After an few hours my shift was over. I changed back into my normal clothes and headed to pick Lily up. As I walked out of the shop I ran into Nico.

"Mind if I walk you home?" He asked

"Actually I have to pick Lily up from school" I said

"Well let me go with you" He said

I nodded my head and walked with Nico, as we walked to Lily's school I noticed that Nico looked really familiar.

"Nico, you look really familiar. What we met before?" I asked him

"Well no, but I am an actor in Newsies" Nico said

"Really? Lily loves that show. She really wanted to go see it but with it just being me I can't buy he tickets. I am a horrible mother" I said while playing with my bracelet

"Your not a horrible mother. Your daughter is such a sweet girl" Nico said

"Thanks" I answered him

After a bit of walking we made it to the school, Lily soon came running out.

"Mommy" She yelled

"Hi honey" I said while picking her up

"I have to head back to the theader. Care to join me?" Nico asked me

"Sure" Lily yelled

I giggled as I walked beside Nico, I didn't realize Nico grabbed my hand till we were almost at the theader. I blushed as he held my hand, once we got to the theader Nico held the door opened for me.

"Follow me to my dressing room" Nico said

I put Lily down and as soon as I did she ran off.

"Lily" I yelled

"She's okay. She won't get lost" Nico told me

Nico POV

I grabbed Y/n hand and dragged her to my dressing room, when I got outside I knocked on the door. When I got no answer I opened to door, no one is here yet. Y/N sat down on a chair and she looked at me. I walked over to her and grabbed her hand, I pulled her into a hug. She blushed and soon hugged me back, when I let her go I pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. 

"You are such a flirt" Y/N whispered

"Thats why I play Romeo, all that flirting is just who I am" I told her

I watched at she laughed and looked down at her wrist.

"Listen Y/N you are such an amazing person and I was wondering if maybe we could get to know each other and maybe i don't know date" I explained

"I would love to but I have a child and you have this show to worry about. It wouldn't work out with you never being around" She mumbled while trying to leave

I grabbed her hand and pulled her so that her lips smashed onto mine. When I pulled away Y/N was blushing like crazy. All of a sudden the door opened and in walks Ben with Lily.

"There you are Lily" Y/N said

"Mommy, Daddy" She yelled while running over to me

Y/N looked shocked as she ran over to me, she completely lost all words.

"Nico? Can we talk outside?" Y/N said

I nodded my head as she pulled me outside. As soon as the door shut she broke down and cried.

"Hey, don't cry" I said

"Please don't leave me" She cried

I pulled her into my arms.

"Please, Lily needs you. I need you" She cried

"I'm not gonna leave you, you wanna know why? Because when I look at you I see a young girl who wants to feel loved, a girl who is struggling to take care of a child she loves." I said

She sniffled and looked up at me, I pressed my lips onto her before walking back into the room. I gave her my number before we headed our seprate ways, I will see her again.
