Newsies cast x reader

[Mike Faist]

Y/N POV

I was on a walk with my best friend (and only friend) Connor Murphy, we are walking around an apple orchards. The place long forgotten by everyone execpt Connor and I, this is the place we come when we need a break.

"Wanna climb a tree?" I asked

"You are going to hurt yourself" Connor answered

"No I won't an even if I do you will be here to help me" I said

Connor rolled his eyes and crossed his arms but he did smile slightly.

"Yeah yeah whatever" He said

"Will you join me?" I asked

"No" He said

"Please" I begged

"No Y/N" He said again

"Please" I begged once again

"Fine but you have to promise you won't hurt yourself and you have to buy ice cream later" He said

"Deal" I said with a smile

I quickly wrapped my arms around Connor and he chuckled at me. He carefully wrapped his arms around my waist hugging me back. When we pulled away Connor started to pull his hair back into a messy bun, he fixed his hoodie and crossed his arms once again.

"Did you keep your promise?" I asked

"What?" Connor asked

"About you hurting yourself." I said

"Yeah, I have. I promised I would stop and I did" Connor said 

I smiled again and quickly grabbed Connors hand and pulled him over to a tree, I giggled and grabbed a branch. I pulled myself up and sat down on the branch looking at Connor who was below me.

"I'm finally taller than you" I giggled

"Yeah don't get use to it" Connor chuckled

"Are you joining me?" I asked

"You want me to?" He asked

"I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't want you to join" I said

"True" He said

Connor smiled at me and climbed up and joined me on the tree branch. I still have my backpack on since we came here straight after school. 

"Wanna draw while we're up here" I asked

"Yeah why no" He answered

I took my backpack off my and I pulled out mine and Connor's sketch book, I handed Connor his sketch book and a pencil. I opened my sketch, I looked at Connor and decided to draw him because I like the draw things I love. I smiled as I draw him, once I finished with the outline of his body I started with the details. 

"What are you straining at?" Connor asked not once looking up 

"Nothing" I said

"Sure you most certainly weren't looking at me" He said looking up at me

"Okay so what if I was" I said 

I placed my sketch book back into my bag and I tossed it to the ground, I carefully stood up and climbed onto the branch above where Connor is and I was sitting.  I giggled and hug myself upside down next to where Connor is, he jumped slightly and looked over at me.

"Stop that you are going to get hurt and I'm not gonna feel bad" He said

"You'll feel bad and you know it" I snapped

"Yeah Yeah whatever" He said

"Sooooooooo, what are you drawing?" I asked

"Drugs" He said "What do you think I'm drawing"

"I didn't ask for the aditude" I said

"Well to bad you are getting it" He said

"Did some one make you made today, you have been in a mood since lunch and don't even think about liying to me" I said

"It's nothing important" He said

"Clearly it is" I said

"Well why don't you come back down to this branch and stop hanging upside down cause you are going to end up passing out" 

"Fine" I said

I climbed back onto the brach that Connor was on and sat down next to him, my feet dangaling down.

"So you gonna tell me know?" I asked

"Oh yea, Jared just made a comment to me today" He said

"Why do you let Jared get to you the way he does. Think of it like this Jared is a rat and his only friend is Evan" I said "You, you have me and I'm way better then any of them" 

"True but I doesn't help but make me slightly upset" He said

"Don't let it, how about we go back to my house and I buy us pizza" I said

"Sure why not" Connor said

Connor tossed his sketch book to the ground before grabbing the branch and rolling off till his feet touched the ground. I giggled and jumped when I hit the ground I tumbled a bit before falling onto my face. 

"Told you, you were gonna get hurt" Connor said

"I didn't get hurt" I said "I just fell"

"Still got hurt" He said

"Now pizza?" I said

"Yeah let's go" He said

Connor pulled me up to my feet and he grabbed my hand and we walked back to my car.

"You wanna drive?" I asked

"Sure" Connor said while grabbing the keys

We made sure we had all of our stuff before we headed off to my house. When we got back to my house I noticed right away the only person home was my brother. As we walked in I saw my brother Michael and his friends Jeremy sitting on the couch playing video games. 

"I'm home and Connor's with me" I called out as I dragged Connor to my room

"Okay" They both called back

When we got to my room I tossed Connor a water and pulled out my phone to order a pizza. Once I was done with that I tossed my phone onto my bed.

"Pizza should be here in about half an hour" I said

"Okay" He said

"What do you want to do in the mean time?" I asked

"Anything is fine we could cuddle?" He said

"Let's do that" I said

I pulled Connor over to my bed, I have a bunk bed in my room since Michael and I use to share a room and then he moved out of the room leaving me with the bunk bed. Connor and I laid down and I laid my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. We laid there for half an hour till the door bell rang, I rolled out of bed and headed down stairs to get the pizza. I paid for the pizza and tipped the guy, I grabbed two plates then headed back up to my room.

"Pizza's here" I said while walking in

"I see that" Connor said while sitting up

I set the box on my desk and we sat on my bed/floor and was eating. It's day like this were I love Connor being my best friend and I wouldn't swap him out for anyone in the world.
