Y/N POV

Work it tough, and my boss is harder on me that the other girls, I don't know why. I have gone long day without a break and without eating. Davey and I are both still working because we have two kids to talk care of, I smile at the through of out twin sons. Joby and Griffin, both are my whole world. As the whisle went off I knew it was time to go home. as I was packing up my boss walked over to me.

"Hey, Y/N I need you to stay late tonight. One of the girls went home early and I need you to finish her stuff" He said

"Yes, sir" I mumbled

I went over to her station and started to work, once again I won't be eating for today. This is the second week I will go without eating and I know I can't keep doing this to myself but it's what I have to do.

Davey POV

When got home I noticed Y/N wasn't home, she must be working late again. I sighed as I walked over to the kitchen table, soon Joby and Griffin ran through the door.

"Hi, dad" Griffin said

"Hey kiddos" I said

"Where's mom" Joby asked

"Working late I think" I answer "when she gets home you boys will need to be quite. She'll be tired. Okay? " I said

"Okay" They answered

They ran off to their room leaving me alone to cook dinner.

"Boys? What do you want for dinner?" I asked

"I don't care" They said back

I rolled my eyes and decided to make soup, I started cooking as I heard the front door open.

"Y/N?" I asked

"Yeah" She answered

She sounds tired, she walked into the kitchen. She wrapped her arms around my waist and placed her head on my chest.

"You okay baby?" I asked

"Just tried and stressed" She whispered

"Baby, you look sick. Are you sure you're okay? Why don't you get some sleep. I can see if Jack or one of the boys can take the kids" I said

"No, it's fine." She answered "Where are the boys?"

"In their room, dinner is almost done. Do you want some" I asked

"No, I'm not hungry. I'm just going to head to bed" She said

I kissed her forehead before she walked to our shared bedroom. I called the boys out for dinner.

"Boys, your mother is in bed, please don't wake her" I said

"Yes dad" Joby said

"okay, daddy" Griffin said

The boys ate dinner and talked to me about their days, I looked at the ring on my finger and rembered the day I proposed to Y/N.

"Hey, dad? How did you met mom?" Joby asked

"Well, you see we were both newsies. We met while selling, she was a newsie for Brooklyn and I had saved her from a fight. We became friends and soon started to date. Now we are married" I explained

The boys smiled as I told my story.

"That's cool" They said

"It's getting late, why don't you head to bed" I said

They noded and put their plates in the sink and headed off to bed, I washed the dishes and put them away. I walked into my bedroom to see Y/N asleep, she looks so peaceful when she sleeps. All of her stress goes away, I sat on the end of the bed and played with Y/N hair. I moved Y/N so that she was laying on my chest when I laid down, I wrapped my arms around Y/N and slowly drifted off to sleep.
