Silence sat awkwardly between the two families, disregarding the only sons which were not present at this meeting.
They avoided eye contact, but they knew that in order for them to get through these harsh years, they had to unite in order to grow.
The economy was at its breaking point, and to survive through it, a family of two future unlikely lovers come forward to make a deal.
"Are you sure they're going to be okay with it?" The woman in the neat and elegant attire spoke up. Her hair is neatly tied up in a flawless bun.
"Ms. Park, you know that this is for the company and for our own families." The man wearing a nice black tuxedo in front of her began.
"World War 3 had sudden broken out a year and a half ago. Everyone was in despair, including the top high class." He continued, leaning back into his chair as he thought about what to speak about next.
The man sighs before he looks up at Ms. Park again.
"It's for our lives."
