Ashton's P.O.V

I storm out of the meeting room, my blood is boiling! I throw my bed room door open and there is Yvonne sitting at the edge of my bed watching TV.

Her big eyes are staring at me with her lips pressed together,

"Ashton, is everything alright?" She jumps up off the bed and walks toward me.

"Please leave." I mumble trying to prevent myself from lashing out at her.

"No, tell me what is wrong."

"Yvonne, please."

"Ashton, was something said at the meeting?" She grabs my forearm lightly and looks at me with concerned eyes. I feel my wolf calm at the touch of our mates hand.

"Yes.."

"Talk to me.. What happened?" She pulls me by my hand to the edge of the bed and I can feel my wolf just relax..

"Yvonne, I am scared to tell you what was spoken of in that meeting.."

"Just tell me."

"Where do I even fucking start?" I sit at the edge of the bed with Yvonne and put my face in my hands.

I feel her little hands grab mine and pull them away from my face.

"Ashton."

"For starters my family was blessed by the Moon Goddess that the eldest son would be given special power; but it was turned into a curse by a witch named Victoria Honderess who happens to be Jasmine's Great-great-great Grandmother."

"But why? Why would she do something like that and how could she possibly been that powerful to turn a blessing given by the Moon Goddess into a curse?"

"Well, from what the elders tell me Victoria had fallen in love with Alpha Matt and when he found his mate he no longer wanted to be affiliated with her. She was furious after Alpha Matt made his mate. Luna, when he promised Victoria that position... As for how she was able to take the Moon Goddess's blessing and turn it dark.. I don't know."

"So what exactly did Victoria change this blessing to?"

"The eldest son does get this power that the Moon Goddess intended but instead of using this power for good it turns your wolf into a uncontrollable monster. The broken hearted Victoria specifically made it so that the eldest son can never love or else the monster will cause them to kill their mate. That was her punishment for Alpha Matt.."

"Ashton! When I first found Dominick as my mate and he hired me as his assistant. Your Father was furious when Dominick told him I was his mate, he warned Dominick and reminded him what happened to your mother. Dominick must have known of this curse.. I remember it so clearly.."

"Dominick must have found out more.."

"Wait, Ashton but I thought you were the oldest?"

"The elders found documents that were sealed by my father.. One of those documents was Dom's and my birth paperwork. It seems that Dominick and I are twins.. I still am the oldest but only by minutes."

"But when I saw some childhood photos of you two.. You looked older than Dominick in all of those photos.. At least by a few years."

"I know-I know.. But I remember growing substantially faster than anyone else. Perhaps this is why my father thought the curse had only passed on to me.. You know.. I always felt that my father hated me; I just never knew why. "
