"I like this."

Jungkook looked around their newly decorated bedroom with a smile. The room softly glowed thanks to the fairy lights throughout, hung over the dresser mirror, intertwined with the garland that was draped over the headboard of their bed, and hanging like icicles in their window along with little red and silver Christmas ornaments.

He had never bothered to decorate before, he didn't see the point in it, but the faint scents of cinnamon and vanilla in the air and the thoughtfulness of her work made the room so much warmer. It seemed she found more and more little ways to enrich his life ever since she came into it.

Hyun-Ji smiled up at him from her place in the center of their bed, untangling a string of colorful Christmas lights. "Thank you. I was going to put these somewhere but I like having all white lights better."

"No, leave it how it is," he agreed while setting up his camera tripod. "I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of our house once we move to our own place."

Hyun-Ji blinked up at him. Jungkook was often so silly that it hid when he was actually pondering something important until he blurted it out almost randomly. He seemed to take his time turning an issue over in his mind before finally speaking on it.

"We're moving?" She asked.

"Eventually," he shrugged.

Hyun-Ji nodded. In all honesty, she liked living with the Jeon family. Haneul and Jungseok were like parents to her, and unlike other family members she heard of that had problems with their in-laws, Hyun-Ji got along with his mother just fine. They worked well together to care for the house and everyone in it.

He secured his Canon onto the tripod, pausing after to regard her. "You look sad about that," he observed.

"I'm not sad about it. It would be nice to be on our own, but I'll miss them too."

"You like my parents," he said, more of a statement than a question.

"I love them, yes."

"They love you, too. I told you a long time ago you can have them," he smiled.

"And they'll be mine in April," she smiled back.

Finally untangling the strand of lights, she began to wind them up so they could be stored away.

"We could probably still use those," he said.

Her brow lifted in question and handed him the string of lights. He came to sit on the bed in front of her and pulled her closer until she was straddling his lap facing him.

"Hold this," he said, handing her the small battery pack at the end of the string.

Giggles floated through the air as he began carefully spiraled the string of lights around their bodies. She helped him along, winding the string behind his back when he couldn't reach, doing her best to shield her neck from his playful nips at her skin.
