Laylah laughed as she and Spencer left the Indian restaurant he had raved about, looking over her shoulder at the man before she spun around to face him. His eyes were taking her in as he trailed a little behind her, falling down her body. He noted the way her jeans hugged her legs just right, and the way her simple black slip ons were a little scuffed on the toe, and the way the strap from her loose silk top fell off her shoulder; baring it to him. Her thick brown coat was hung over her arm delicately, her purse hanging off that same wrist. She blushed softly as she dragged her strap back up onto her shoulder, smiling at him as he finally stepped forward.

'You were right,' She commented as they started to walk; 'That is a pretty good place to eat.'

'I know, you should wait until you try their Chicken Tikka Masala,' He rambled excitedly; 'It's almost to die for.'

She chuckled, 'Well, you'll just have to bring me back here next time.'

'You- You want a second date?'

She peered up at him slowly, 'Don't you?'

'Yeh. Yeh, I really do.'

'Then, there's no problem. But, next time, you'll let me help with the bill.'

'I wanted to spoil you.'

'And you have, Spence. I feel really spoilt... Can I spoil you now?'

'I guess.'

'Good, cause my favourite ice cream place is just around the corner and I would kill for their cookies and cream right now.'

'I like caramel and peanut butter.'

'Really?'

'I think it's pretty good.'

'Then caramel and peanut butter is it.'

She beamed up at him, hesitantly putting her hand in his own. Warmth enveloped her hand when he linked his fingers through her own, letting them sit comfortably against the back of his hand. Her smiled turned a little shy as she looked away, leading him through the streets. They entered the small ice cream shop together, their hands remaining linked as they approached the counter; ordering two scoops of their chosen ice cream. Spencer let Laylah pay at her demand, licking at his ice cream as he took her hand again; leaving the shop.

'I've actually never had cookies and cream before,' He stated.

'I'll let you have a lick if you let me have a lick,' She teased.

Spencer suddenly looked nervous, Laylah's face falling as she realised what she'd said.

'Shit, I'm sorry,' She sighed; 'I forgot.'
