[Chapter 01: 6 Months]

Agad naman akong mabilisang napaiwas pagkapasok ko sa training hall habang nag-aayos ng bandana ko, nang may biglang lumilipad na dummy ang patungo sa akin.

I frankly frowned the moment it happened.

Rye, on the other hand, suddenly approached me when he saw me came in.

He immediately passed me up with the dagger that I've been using, while we're training for exactly 6 months from now. Sandali ko naman 'tong pinaglaruan hanggang sa namalayan ko nalang na bigla na naman akong napaiwas nang may naramdaman kong may paparating sa akin.

Napapikit naman ako ng mariin nang pangalawang beses na 'yang nangyari ngayon.

"Where's Hue? Trixie and the others will be here soon."Agad akong napatingin sa relo ko nang tanungin sa akin 'yon ni Rye.

"Wait, where's Za-WHAT THE FREAKING HELL OF PIZZAS LEVI COBBURN!"I immediately couldn't help but to yelled at Rye's brother, the moment a dummy hit me in the back.

Nakarinig naman agad kami ni Rye ng isang karipas ng takbo mula sa malayo papunta sa akin kung saan sumulpot sa kanan ko si Levi na nakangiwi habang nakangiti pagkatapos ng nangyari.

Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kilay at tinuunan siya sa noo matapos makita ang mukha niya.

Bigla naman siyang napasimangot sa ginawa ko at magsasalita na sana para sumbatan ako nang muling lumiwanag ulit ang mukha niya at sabay dumako ng pagtingin sa may harapan.

"Vann!"Levi's attention suddenly diverted towards the door the moment Hue's cousin entered while playing a soccer ball up on his head.

"Vann, where the hell is your geek cousin?"

Halos lahat naman kami ay agad na napadako ng tingin sa likod niya nang biglang pumasok si Treck na kasama si Trixie. Vann quickly stopped from playing soccer and eventually shrugged as soon as he heard them asked him. Nagkatinginan naman kaming lahat nang makita ang naging sagot niya.

"Right here."

Then just right there, the one we were talking about just entered the training hall with a book on his hand. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Hue, we're here to train. Classes are supposed to be held in L.U and not inside the Alum."Hue quickly gave us a blank stare the moment he heard it from me.

But eventually, he immediately went to the corner where the training hall's pantry is and swiftly put there his things before approaching us. Agad naman akong napaimpit ng sakit nang batukan niya ako, pagkalapit na pagkalapit niya palang sa amin.

"Okay, yo-"

"Yo children of the Alum!"

We were right about to go in the middle of the training hall upon the presence of Hue, when the door suddenly went opened once again and welcomed both Azraell and Ulysses at the same time. That's the exact moment where we saw how Treck cleared his throat and continue what he was trying to say.

Napailing nalang siya bago muling magpatuloy.

"Okay, you already know the drill."We immediately nodded the moment Treck said that and went to our own training spots.

I immediately make my way towards where the dummies are, but I almost couldn't help but to grunted in annoyance when I saw how messy the place is because of Levi who used it awhile ago.
