[Chapter 57: About Time]

*Treck's Point of View

"Hey, Trix."Bungad ko kaagad sa kapatid ko na parang halos kakagising lang.

Matamlay naman siyang ngumiti sa akin at tumango nang makita niya ako.

I immediately shook my head in an unbelievably manner the moment I saw how she looked so haggard staying up all night just to look after these two who's still lying down unconscious for almost 5 days straight.

Limang araw na ang nakakalipas nang mangyari yung sa mansyon nila Aphrodite at halos dito na kami matulog sa kwarto ng dalawa dahil patuloy kami sa pagbabantay ng kondisyon nila.

"Where's the others?"Trixie immediately asked me right after she kind did of a stretch.

Umupo naman ako sa tabi niya at uminom muna doon sa soda na hawak-hawak ko bago magsalita.

Before even answering her question, I gradually took out the iPad that I brought to check some updates.

"Azraell and Ulysses are currently monitoring the control room, while Hue, Rye, Axe together with Levi and Vann are all in training."Tumango naman agad si Trixie nang marinig ang sinabi ko at tumayo para lapitan yung dalawa.

"Wait, where's Vi?"Trixie quickly turned back her gaze at me as soon as she asked that.

"Vi is having a conversation with the doctors in the Hall of Reign together with Tita Dione regarding those two."I pointed out Zace and Aphrodite as I answered her questions.

"And if you're asking about Crimson and the others, they're currently on a meeting with their family architecture and engineer."I eventually shrugged and take the last sip of my soda.

Nang marinig naman ni Trixie ang huling sinabi ko ay napakunot ang noo niya na naging dahilan naman para sandaling mapatawa ako ng mahina.

"After what happened, do you think they still want their mansion to be built the same way it was ambushed?"I raised a brow at her when I saw her reaction.

Tinaasan niya naman din ako ng kilay bago umupo sa may kama ni Zace.

Napailing naman ako dahil sa kaniya at tumayo para lumabas at pumunta sa balcony ng kwartong 'to.

"How's cheerleading, Trix?"

Hindi ko alam kung anong pumasok sa akin at tinanong 'yon sa kapatid ko.

I immediately heard her scoffed the moment she heard me asked that. Naramdaman ko naman na nasa tabi ko na siya at taas-kilay siyang tumingin sa akin.

"Seriously?"It was the first thing that she said before messing up with my hair.

Napasimangot naman ako at sabay na inayos ulit yung buhok ko bago hintayin yung gusto niyang sabihin.

"You know that our lives are far from being normal. Besides, Luxe University is just an open haven for all the heirs and heiresses under the Alum."Trixie shrugged and smiled at me.

"We're really not supposed to be students."Dagdag niya pa, bago muling pumasok sa loob.

Wala naman akong ibang nagawa kundi mapailing bago sundan siya sa loob at agad na sumandal sa pader bago pagmasdan sina Zace at Aphrodite.

"Do you think he'll wake up, soon?"

Trixie took a quick glimpse of me before gazing back towards Zace and shrugged.

"Only time knows."

Halos maalimpungatan naman ako nang makarinig ako ng ilang ingay dito sa loob na naging dahilan para kunot-noo akong mapalingon sa buong kwarto.

I unconsciously look at the time and it's almost quarter to 6:00 AM.

"Oh, good morning Treck!"I immediately raised a brow the moment Axe's face appeared in front of me.

Inis ko namang tinuunan ang mukha niya at marahas na inalis sa harap ko bago humikab na naging dahilan naman para ismiran niya ako.

Ginulo ko naman ang buhok ko pagkatapos 'non bago sandaling bumalik sa pagkakahiga sa couch na ginamit ko nang matulog ako dito.

But I immediately get up as soon as I noticed that Trixie's not here.

"Where's Trixie?"I asked them. Axe fixed his bandana before lying down on the couch beside Zace's bed.

"In the control room with Azraell and Vi."Sagot naman niya at ngumiti sa akin. Agad naman akong tumango bago tumayo.

"Did the doctors already came in?"I once more asked when I suddenly remember the time.

Hourly check kasi ng mga doctors sa kanila Zace at Aphrodite ay every 4 hours ang pagitan. It's already 6:00 in the morning after their last checkup at 2:00 and they're still not yet here.

"Chill, Treck."Axe chuckled.

"They should be on their way here with Aphrodite's Mom. Palagi kasing humihingi ng update yung nanay ni Aphrodite kaya minsan nade-delay yung pagpunta nila dito."Paliwanag naman ni Rye at agad na pinuntahan si Zace.

Napasandal naman ako sa kinauupuan ko at napabuntong-hininga.

"That's quite expected."I bluntly said. I gradually stood fron my seat and went to Zace.

Pinagmasdan ko naman siya hanggang sa kumunot ang noo ko nang mapansin kong parang kumukurap na yung mata ni Zace.

I quickly wandered my eyes towards his hand the moment I saw it happened. Halos hindi ko naman napigilan na mapangisi pagkatapos kong makitang saktong gumalaw ang daliri niya.

"Treck?"Hue curiously approached me.

"Well, they should be here."

Kunot-noo namang sinundan ni Rye kung saan ako nakatingin at halos manlaki ang mga mata niya nang makitang niyang muling gumalaw yung daliri ni Zace.

"It's about time he wakes up."Sabay naman na nagkatinginan sina Axe at Hue bago sabay rin na nilapitan kung nasaan ako.

And as if the doctors heard me, the door unknowingly opened and it revealed Vi, Tita Dione together with the doctors who's monitoring Zace and Aphrodite.

"Treck?"Vi called me out. Dali-dali naman siyang lumapit sa akin at kunot-noo akong tinignan.

"What's wrong?"

Mas lalo naman siyang nagtaka nang umiling ako at tumawa ng mahina dahil sa naging tanong niya sa akin.

With a furrowed forehead, she just quickly gaze to her brother. But eventually, she return her attention to me with her widening eyes.

"Oh my..."I started caressing her back the moment I saw tears building up within her eyes as she take a look back at me.

Ngumiti ako at tumango sa kaniya. There, a tear already fell from her eye as soon as she called him out with a smile on her lips.

"KUYA!"
