[Chapter 14: Bizarre]

I almost can't help but to groan in frustration while I've been tapping my fingers on my desk after reading the last book in my bag. Agad naman akong napadako sa pinto habang patuloy kong ginagawa 'yon at nakitang wala pang pumapasok mula dito.

Halos mapaismid naman ako at sabay na dumako ng tingin sa kanila Axe na ngayon ay nakatunganga lang sa kaniya-kaniya nilang upuan habang hinihintay namin si Mrs. Laurent.

"Where's the freaking tiger lady?"Axe suddenly stood up from his seat and immediately appraoched me.

Tinaasan ko naman siya ng kilay nang halos umupo siya sa harapan ko at nakipagtitigan.

"Do you know where she is?"He eventually frown the moment I immediately look away upon hearing his stupid question.

"Axe, you know how he just loves classes and not the one who's teaching it."Rye immediately corrected him and gave me a tap on the shoulder that just made me rolled my eyes heavenwards.

Inalis ko nalang ang atensyon ko sa kanila at dumako kay Zace na hanggang ngayon ay walang imik. Maski nung dumating kami sa kanila Axe kanina ay halos ni isang buka ng bibig niya ay hindi namin nakita.

I just shrugged.

But then all of a sudden, the door opened that made me look up ahead. Hindi ko naman napigilan na mapasimangot agad nang makitang isa sa mga kaklase lang pala namin ang pumasok.

I tilted my head afterwards the moment we saw how he went in front of the whole class, and quickly cleared his throat before speaking up.

"The faculty would like to privately announce that Mrs. Laurent was on an emergency flight and would be back the day after tomorrow."

Whispers and freaking gossips immediately surrounded the whole room the moment our classmate announced the not-so-shocking news. Well, for me.

Agad naman kaming nagkatinginan nila Zace nang marinig 'yon bago sabay na magsitanguhan at walang pasintabing tumayo para lumabas, kahit napunta na sa amin ang mga atensyon nila.

There's no teacher, anyway.

"Isn't this the first time that you look disappointed?"I quickly gave both Axe and Rye a death glare after hearing what they said.

Umiling nalang ako sa kanila at sumabay sa paglalakad kay Zace nung makalabas na kami.

"Should we go? The others probably know that Mrs. Tiger will not come."He immediately stared blankly at me the moment I removed one of his earphone and said that.

Marahas niya namang kinuha agad yung earphone sa akin at ibinalik sa pagkasalpak nito sa tenga niya na ikinasimangot ko.

"Hue, aside from Vi, you know how he hates it when someone did that to him."I felt Rye approached me after seeing what happened.

"Wait, Hue's right though. Maybe we should go and come. Wala naman na tayong gagawin dito."Axe quickly clicked his tongue and agreed to what I said earlier.

Pinagmasdan naman agad namin si Zace na nakapamulsang naglalakad at parang walang naririnig, kahit alam naming tatlo na wala naman talaga siyang pinapakinggan.

It's just actually his way of saying to everyone that he doesn't want to be bothered.

I shook my head in disbelief for witnessing it and just continue to walk, while both Axe and Rye shrugged.

"Well, hello there."

Bago pa kami makaliko papuntang cafeteria ay agad kaming napatigil sa paglalakad nang biglang humarang sa daan namin si Margauxe na mag-isa. Huh, where's her allies?

I immediately raised an eyebrow at her the moment I saw how she smirk towards us, especially towards Zace who's still completely walking like he didn't saw her right in front kf his eyes.

Dahil doon ay nagkatinginan naman kaming tatlo nina Axe at Rye, habang si Zace ay tuluyan na nilagpasan siya.

"Say, where's Scar?"

We were also about to passed by and just ignored her presence, but we suddenly couldn't helped but to stop after hearing her mentioned Aphrodite's name when the first time that she came in L.U.

Agad naman kaming napadako ng tingin kay Zace nang marinig 'yon. Oh, boy.

"I heard from someone that she disappeared."

Mas lalo namanng bumalik ang atensyon naming tatlo sa kaniya nang marinig ang sunod niyang sinabi. What the fuck?

"Disappeared? Margauxe, where the hell did you heard that? Aph-Scar didn't disappeared."I almost hit Axe in the head the moment he blurted out Scar's real name.

I mentally facepalmed.

"Thought you'd say that."

Kumunot lalo ang noo ko nang muli siyang ngumisi pagkatapos niyang sabihin 'yon, bago siya na mismo ang naglakad sa pagitan namin at iwan kami dito na nagtataka sa biglaang pagsulpot niya sa harapan namin.

"May sumapi bang espirito sa babaeng 'yon?"Axe quickly pointed out Margauxe who's now currently walking away.

Rye just shrugged while I, on the other hand watched her.

"Oh and by the way, good to see you again. It has been a while."

Tinignan ko naman ng blangko si Margauxe nang tumigil siya sa paglalakad at muli kaming binigyan ng isang tingin bago sabihin 'yon.

Eventually, she just left and continue walking again.

"Is it just me or there's something going on with that girl?"Rye suddenly assumed while we're all watching her fade in our sight.

"It gives me the creeps, actually."Axe suddenly shivered in disgust.

Nilihis ko naman ang atensyon ko papunta kay Zace na pati hanggang ngayon ay wala paring imik. Napailing nalang ako.

"Very strange, huh."I was about to go and approach him, but we suddenly heard him spoke and turn his gaze towards us.

"Let's just go."

I was completely anticipating if he noticed something about her, but I eventually frowned when he faced us with his usual obnoxious vibe and said that.

Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako at pinabayaan siya.
