[Chapter 11: Comeback]

I immediately can't help but to smirk while tapping my pen on my face, after hearing the news.

Agad naman akong napalihis ng tingin patalikod nang makaramdam ako ng ilang presensya sa may pinto. Iniluwa naman doon sina Azraell na mukhang narinig na rin kung anong nangyari.

Behind him are the others, including both Levi and Vann who seems to have no knowledge about this kind of matter. Huh.

Nang makita naman nila akong nakatitingin sa kanila ay agad silang dumako kung nasaan ako at sinamahan akong tignan yung screen kung saan pinapakita yung bawat surveillance coverage ng buong L.U.

"Well, that is not something surprising."Azraell suddenly mocked that made me scoffed on the other hand. Tell me about it.

"What's in the video?"Levi approached me and pointed out the screen. Tinignan ko naman siya at umiling bago ngumisi sa kaniya.

"Wait, is that Zace?"Vann beside him butted in and curiously pointed out the screen, as well.

Nagkatinginan naman kaming lahat bago tumango.

"Replay it."Sumulpot naman sa tabi ko si Treck at sinabi 'yon.

I immediately reached out for a button, and played everything so everyone can watch what happened.

An ambiance eventually surrounded us the moment I played the video. All we could ever hear are keyboards typing and control systems which are all currently running while continuously analyzing the situation.

"The place looks familiar."Bigla naman akong napalingon sa kanila Levi nang sabay nilang sabihin 'yon ni Vann.

I almost couldn't help but to chuckle that made them both looked at me, afterwards.

"Of course it is. It's Luxe University."Vi suddenly went beside me and told them that.

Nagkatinginan naman sina Levi at Vann nang marinig 'yon bago muling ituon ang atensyon doon sa screen.

The video showed everything that happened from the moment Zace left the rooftop. Halos hindi ko nga mapigilan na mapailing nang pati pagda-drama niya doon ay pinanuod pa namin.

Tell me about being in love.

Napairap nalang ako nang wala sa oras, hanggang sa nakarinig ulit kami nang pagkabukas ng pinto at iniluwa na doon sina Zace at Ulysses na halos may mga dugo sa damit.

I clicked my tongue.

"Kuya!"Vi immediately went Zace and hug him, despite of what he looks. Parehas namang agad na napadako ang tingin nilang dalawa ni Ulysses sa screen nang makita nila yung nangyari.

They eventually both look at each other and did a fist bump. Napataas naman ang kilay ko nang dahil doon at sabay na napailing.

"What's the update for now?"Ulysses approached me and asked.

Naglakad naman agad ako patungo kung nasaan ang ilan sa mga tao ng Alum ang may inaasikaso tungkol sa nangyari.

I unknowingly kept on nodding while watching them work.

"As expected to those bastards, but there's still left to ask though."Agad namang napakunot ang noo ni Ulysses nang marinig ang sinabi ko. The others seemed to heard what I said that made them all immediately diverted their attention towards me, the moment the video ended.

Tumingin ako sa kanila. Halos manlaki naman ang mga mata nila Azraell nang makuha nila ang gusto kong sabihin.

"Shit."Treck suddenly cursed out of nowhere that made me look at him.

"I'm calling Auntie."

Agad namang lumabas si Axe pagkatapos niyang sabihin 'yon. Muli namang napadako ang tingin ko sa screen na nakakunot ang noo.

Halos balutin naman kaming lahat dito sa Hall of Reign pagkatapos naming manggaling doon sa control room. I unknowingly keep on fidgeting that made Treck look at me in annoyance.

"Trix."Napairap nalang ako at hindi siya pinansin.

Agad naman kaming napatayo nang biglang bumukas yung pinto at iniluwa doon si Axe na kasama na ngayon si Tita Avani na seryoso ang mukha.

We altogether look at each other the moment we saw her face.

"Tita."She immediately signaled us to sit down the moment she approached us. Umupo naman agad kami at hinintay ang sasabihin niya. She cleared her throat before speaking up.

"I already expected this to happen."She bluntly stated with her professional serious voice.

Nagkatinginan naman kaming lahat dahil doon.

"The Onyx has been in silence for almost months, but they're still in the hunt for all the heirlooms."Tumingin naman siya kay Axe na nakaiwas ng tingin ngayon.

"They have something to do with Aphrodite, right?"Napakunot naman si Zace nang titigan lang siya ng blangko ni Tita Avani bago muling ibalik ang atensyon sa amin.

"Wait, Tita. Don't tell me-"Agad namang tumango si Tita Avani bago matapos ang gustong sabihin ni Vi.

"Now that they're back, I'm expecting you to handle everthing."

Napasandal naman ako at wala sa oras na napangisi nang marinig ang sunod na sinabi niya.

"They're back, but they forgot that the Alum knows everything."I unknowingly said out loud the thought that I've been thinking about ever since what happened.

Napadako naman ang tingin sa akin ni Tita at tumango.

"Always the predictable ones, huh?"Azraell suddenly butted in and joked around. Hindi naman namin naiwasan na mapailing nang marinig 'yon.

"Poor thing."Umiling-iling naman sa tabi ko si Treck na naging dahilan para tumawa ako ng mahina.

We suddenly gaze back our attention towards Tita Avani the moment we saw her stood up from her seat and once again, cleared her throat.

"I'll keep in touch, while you guys are here."Agad naman kaming nagsitanguhan nang marinig 'yon.

Tita Avani has been handling the university by the past few months, to the point she never had time to come. Hmm.

Nagkibit-balikat nalang ako at napailing nalang ulit bago tumayo.
