[Chapter 03: What's Behind]

*Violet's Point of View

I gradually reached out for my feet as a morning stretch the moment I lay down on the couch here inside our hangout place. The next thing that I did was to stretch my arms up high, at the same time that both Trixie and Treck together with Levi and Vann entered the room.

Agad naman akong napatingin sa oras at halos maghahapon na rin pala. I naturally cracked my neck to finish out my stretching and immediately approach them.

"Training done?"I asked.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko nang sabay-sabay silang nagkatinginan at hindi muna ako sinagot.

Treck suddenly went towards the pantry and immediately get himself a refreshment, while both Levi and Vann directly went to play video games and didn't bother to give me a single glimpse at all.

Trixie, on the other hand, was the only one who approached me. But unreasonably, she show me her infamous rolling eyes first, before speaking up.

"Did something happened at the training hall?"I asked as I sounded concerned. She suddenly scoffed and look at me upon hearing my question.

"Your brother happened. He's using the training hall by himself, and doesn't want anyone in."Trixie bluntly said before drinking the bottled water that I offered.

"Grateful enough, I called out Crimson by the phone and asked them if we could use Aphrodite's hidden training hall."

Napalihis naman agad ang atensyon ko papunta kay Treck nang bigla siyang sumulpot sa tabi ko at sinabi 'yon. He casually offered me a soda that I gratefully received, before looking down after realizing what my brother did because of the way how they told mr what happened.

"Violet, no need to feel sorry. We all do understand him."I felt Trixie suddenly tapped in the shoulder and eventually caressed my hair, when she seemed to noticed me feeling guilty out of Kuya's actions.

Matamlay naman akong napangiti nang marinig ko ang sinabi niya.

"Besides, Zace seems so different and I meant it in a good way. He's like, the male version of Aphrodite."Treck suddenly smirk before taking a sip out of his drink.

Napailing nalang ako at tumawa nalang ng mahina.

Pero agad din namang nawala ang ngiti naming tatlo nang makarinig kami ng isang malakas na pagkabukas ng pinto at iniluwa doon ang taong pinag-uusapan namin.

He immediately gave us a deadly blank stare the moment he came in, before making his way towards the room where he usually hangs out alone.

I just shrugged.

Kuya suddenly always seems to enter and barge in wherever we are the moment he's the one we were talking about.

"It's pretty creepy whenever he always barged in. Is he always like that?"Agad naman akong napatingin kay Levi nang bigla siyang lumapit sa amin at tinanong 'yon.

Eventually, Vann suddenly followed him right through here after hearing what he said and when he also saw my brother. Nagkatinginan naman kaming tatlo nang marinig ang tanong niya.

Both Levi and Vann came along 2 months ago the moment the Collins and the Cobburns transferred them in L.U. As a student of L.U and a member of the Alum, bearing those surnames are a lot more than just being transferees.

Soon, both of them will be the heirs after Hue and Rye.

"Well, about tha-"

Halos mapagitla naman kaming lahat nang biglang lumabas si Kuya mula doon sa kwarto.

And as usual, he immediately look the way he's been giving us whenever he felt us staring back at him.

Napabuntong-hininga naman ako dahil doon.

"Actually no, Levi."I eventually answered him and messed up with his hair that made him frowned. Kumunot naman agad ang noo niya nang marinig niya ang naging sagot ko sa tanong niya.

"So, why is he acting like that?"I just half-smile at him and ignored what he said as I watched how Kuya left the room with his fist clenched.

Goodness, Kuya.

Nagpakahalumbaba naman agad ako sa mesa nang lumabas na sila Treck mula dito sa tambayan namin. They said that they still have other things to do together with the others, and since my training is done, I have nothing else to do.

I unknowingly diverted my attention towards the door when it suddenly opened and revealed my brother with his friends, once again.

Napailing nalang ako. Aside from training, all he did was to pace back and forth through all the doors like it his way of fidgeting without saying anything.

Napadako naman agad ang tingin ko sa mga mata niya na walang buhay, na naging dahilan para ngumiti ako ng matamlay.

"He really outdid today, Vi."Kuya Hue suddenly approached me as soon as they came in.

Napatingin naman ako sa kaniya.

"He always outdid himself."Kuya Rye on the other hand somehow corrected him.

"Ako lang ba naaawa doon sa mga dummies na pinapatay niya?"Kuya Axe out of nowhere joked around to lighten up the mood that made both Kuya Hue and Kuya Rye hit him in the head.

Napailing nalang ako sa nagiging asal nilang tatlo at muling tinignan si Kuya na ngayon ay nakaupo sa sala at nakapikit.

"He always outdid himself to hide something we all know about."I said my thought out loud that made them stopped from joking around.

Kuya Hue suddenly firmed his expression and look away the moment he heard what I just said.

"Ano pa ba magagawa natin, kulang nalang maghukay na ako ng sarili kong puntod tuwing titignan niya ako."Kuya Axe suddenly blurted out and frowned.

Binatukan na naman ulit siya ni Kuya Rye.

"He's been killing you right inside his mind, Axe. Matagal ka nang nakalibing sa utak niya."Kuya Rye blurted out, as well.

"Edi may langit pala sa loob ng utak ni Zace?"Mas lalo namang nakatanggap ng batok si Kuya Axe nang sabihin niya 'yon.

"Asa ka pang sa langit ka mapupunta. What the hell Axe, you're going to hell! Don't you remember?"Kuya Rye said that made me laugh a bit as I watch them joked around.

I suddenly diverted my gaze right back to where my brother is and there, I saw him exactly staring back at us. Napangiti naman ako nung bigla siyang umiwas ng tingin nang makita niyang nagtama ang titig namin.

Eventually, he get up from his seat and immediately wear the look he always give us and left the room where he's always good at.

"Oh? Akala ko ba tulog 'yon?"Kuya Axe noticed him left as he pointed out the door.

"Ang ingay daw kasi ng bunganga mo."

Napailing nalang ulit ako sa kaingayan nila bago lumabas para sundan si Kuya.
