[Chapter 13: Back to Normal]

"Trust me and return back."

Pagkagising na pagkagising ko palang ay agad na namang sumulpot sa isipan ko yung sinabi sa amin kahapon ni Auntie Avani tungkol sa pagbalik namin sa L.U. I just unconsciously shrugged with the thought of that. It's just feels weird hearing that from her, especially without knowing the reason why does she want us to return back inside.

The last time that she told us something like that was when she wanted us to have a connection with Scar, which we later on knew that her name is eventually Aphrodite.

Napapikit nalang ulit ako at inalis nalang lahat nang 'yon sa utak ko bago bumangon. I gradually look at the time and almost couldn't helped but to groaned in irritation.

I just shook my head in disbelief and make my towards the bathroom to do my routine.

I rather woke up early to train. Tsk.

Pagkatapos naman ng ilang minuto ay lumabas na ako ng banyo na may hawak-hawak na bath towel at ipinangpupunas ko sa buhok ko para tumuyo.

I immediately diverted my direction and walk towards my walk-in closet to get my uniform.

Feels like the first day, huh?

Walang pasintabi ko namang binato agad yung towel ko sa kama nang tapos na ako makapagbihis at nagpasyang humarap sa may salamin ng kwarto ko para mag-ayos. I was about to walk back towards my bed, but a knock on the door suddenly prevented me to do it.

Kunot-noo naman akong pumunta doon at tinignan sa may intercom screen kung sino 'yon.

I was quite taken aback the moment I saw Zace, Hue, and Rye looking back at me straight from the intercom screen that made me hurriedly open the door.

Halos mawalan naman ako ng balanse nang sabay-sabay nilang binuksan yung pinto ko.

"Good morning!"Ngiting bati ko sa kanila na ikinasama naman ng tingin ni Hue, lalo na si Zace na kulang nalang talaga ay patayin na ako sa mga tingin niya.

Rye, on the other hand, just shook his head off the moment he heard me.

Napasimangot naman ako nang makita 'yon at bumalik nalang ulit sa harapan ng salamin para ipagpatuloy yung pag-aayos ko.

"Where's Trixie and Vi, by the way?"I suddenly turned back my gaze towards them when I heard Hue's question to Zace. I frankly pouted when the latter unknowingly lie down in my bed and close his eyes before answering what Hue just asked.

"University."Halos manlaki naman ako ng marinig 'yon.

"That early?"Sabay naman naming pagkasambit ni Rye na naging dahilan para mapabangon na si Zace sa kama ko at sabay na magkibit-balikat.

"Ask Trixie."He shrugged once more before standing up.

Napailing nalang ako nang marinig ang pangalan ni Trixie. Poor Vi.

"Axe, did Tita told you anything more about why all of a sudden she want us to return back?"I immediately gave them a shrug and a shook of my head at the same time, the moment I heard what Rye asked.

"Besides, she's too busy. Halos tulog na ako kapag umuuwi siya."Dagdag ko pa bago tumungo kung nasaan yung bag ko.

Nagkatinginan naman kaming lahat nang mangyari 'yon.

"Let's just go."Hue suddenly interrupted and broke the silence between us and followed Zace who's about to leave my room.

I just quickly get my bag and eventually followed them, as well.

Halos mapatakip naman ako ng tenga ko nang biglang sumalubong sa amin ang sandamakmak na mga babae na kulang nalang ay mahimatay na sa mga kinatatayuan nila nung makita kami.

I just gave them both of a smile and a wave before they paved us a way towards the main entrance of the university.

"Well, will you look at that. Everything seems to be just normal, it's not too bad to return at all."

Agad naman akong napatingin sa kanan ko kung saan katabi ko si Rye na naglalakad at nakitang nakangisi siya habang nakatingin doon sa mga babae sa likod namin.

I just shook my head in an unbelievably manner.

I suddenly diverted my attention towards Zace who's as usual, wearing his wireless earphones to get rid of the noisy shrieks coming from all the girls whenever we always arrived.

But I found myself doing a half-smile the moment I realized how different Zace is, now.

Mukha naman napansin 'yon ni Rye, kaya sandaling napadako ang tingin ko sa kaniya bago bumalik ulit kay Zace na prenteng nakapamulsa at naglalakad sa tabi ni Hue na may hawak na namang libro.

"Unfortunately, looks like someone doesn't agree with you."I bluntly said while still gazing towards Zace whose fists are being clenched inside his pocket.

Nagkatinginan naamn kaming dalawa ni Rye nang mangyari 'yon, bago humabol sa kanila sa paglalakad.

"Tell me about it."Rye suddenly reacted to what I said.

We immediately diverted our ways towards the direction where the elevator is, the moment we entered the university so we could quickly make our way up where Luxe-Z is.

Muli naman akong napailing nang bigla kong marinig na huminga ng maluwag si Zace nang makasakay na kami sa elevator at naiwan yung mga babaeng pasunod-sunod sa amin papasok.

Those girls will be much more dead than me.

I just silently chuckled under beneath my breath, not until Zace saw me that made me immediately zipped my lips close.

Napakamot naman ako sa likod ng ulo ko nang mangyari 'yon.

Sabay-sabay naman kaming agad na lumabas nang tumigil na yung elevator sa 5th floor, at halos hindi ko naman napigilan na mapangisi nang ngayon nalang ulit namin nakita yung pinto ng Luxe-Z. I was about to focus my attention in front, but the ring on Zace's finger suddenly caught my attention while he's leading the way.

Nawala naman ang pagkangisi sa mukha ko nang makita 'yon. I just frankly half-smiled the moment Aphrodite's image popped up in my mind the moment I saw the ring.

Binigyan ko naman ng tingin si Zace na blangko yung mukha hanggang sa makapasok kami sa loob ng classroom.

I found myself heavily sighed before going directly where my seat is.

Zace really doesn't agree with you, Rye. Sure, everything feels just like the last time, but not without her by his side.
