"Sorry, Zace. But, I think your rose needs to be put somewhere safe."

I unknowingly couldn't help but to smirked right after the moment I heard what Axe said to me. Agad ko namang ginawa ang sinabi niya at sandaling tumungo sa may harap ng backgate sabay na pinatong yung rose na dala-dala ko.

It's kinda cringey to see me holding it, but I really love roses ever since I was a kid.

"You wouldn't want that to be in danger."

Nawala naman ang ngisi sa mukha ko nang biglang sumabat sa aming dalawa ni Axe si Margauxe na nakangisi at nakapameywang na nakatingin sa amin.

Both Axe and I suddenly look at each other.

"Kausap ka ba namin? Hindi ka ba tinuruan ng nanay mo na masamang makisabat sa usap ng may usap?"I almost chuckled under beneath my breath, as Axe blurted out towards Margauxe that made her smirk faded.

"Excuse me?"Margauxe scoffed upon hearing Axe's words. Patago naman akong tumawa ng mahina.

"Chill, Axe."Rye on the other hand unknowingly approached us, as he said that and put placed his arms across our shoulders.

"Besides, what's your deal?"

Lahat naman kami ay napatingin kay Hue nang biglang itanong 'yon sa kanila. I gradually rolled my eyes after hearing what he just asked.

We've been encountering the Onyx for almost half of the year. It's pretty obvious that these guys are still dealing on how to get all the heirlooms inside the Alum.

Hindi ko nga alam kung ano pa ang balak ni Tita Avani, dahil kung alam niyang parte pala ng Onyx sina Margauxe at Mrs. Kan sa simula palang, bakit niya pinabayaan na mangyari lang 'yon na parang wala siyang alam tungkol sa kanila?

Is it because the security of the Alum is high enough to prevent them from going in?

Or is it because she wanted to play along, as well?

Napailing nalang ako at sinamaan ng tingin si Margauxe na ang lagkit na kung makatingin sa akin ngayon. Ew.

"Do you really have to ask that, Mr. Collins?"I immediately raised an eyebrow as Mrs. Kan butted into our conversation and asked that to Hue.

Here they go again.

Nagkatinginan naman kaming dalawa ni Hue nang mangyari 'yon at sabay na nagkibit-balikat.

I was about to approach and say something to them, but Axe seems so very hyped out with the situation, to the point he just took the initiative to react to what she just asked us.

I almost mentally facepalmed. Goodness.

"Oo nga naman, Hue. Alam mo naman na ang heirlo—"Before Axe could finish his words, Rye beside him immediately covered his babbling mouth and hit his head, afterwards.

Inismiran naman siya ni Rye bago siya pagsabihan dahil sa ginawa niya.

"Minsan talaga wala nang pinipiling lugar 'yang bibig mo. Mamamatay na tayo, ang daldal mo parin."Rye once more hit him that made the latter frankly frowned and rolled his eyes.

"Duh, she's asking a question."Axe blurted out.

"It's a rhetorical question, Axe. It didn't need an answer."Hue suddenly butted in, as well that eventually made Axe to rolled his eyes more.
