[Chapter 33: The Roses]

*Triton's Point of View

I unconsciously throw off one piece of the ferrero chocolate that I hold up in the air and eventually catch it with my mouth. The others unknowingly shook their heads off as they saw me did that.

Tinaasan ko nalang sila ng kilay habang ngumunguya at uminom ng konti doon sa tea na pinahanda para sa amin ni Lee.

"So, how's the Alum back in the Philippines? I mean, it's really different with just being in touch with you, guys."

I immediately diverted my attention towards Lee as he suddenly mentioned regarding the situation about the Alum.

Napansin naman namin na tumikhim muna si Ulysses bago magsalita.

"You know, just like the last time."He casually shrugged before taking a sip from his tea.

Azraell beside him suddenly shook his head as a reaction about what he said.

He was about to talk, until Trixie took the initiative to tell us what's really going on back there, despite we already know what's happening.

Well, it's good to hear it personally from them.

"They're back."Trixie bluntly said.

Napansin ko pa na kumuha siya ng isang tingin kay Zackyro na bigla nalang natahimik at saka tinuon nalang ang kaniyang atensyon doon sa mga roses simula nang tanungin sila ni Lee.

Because of what she said, we altogether immediately look at each other.

Crimson beside me unconsciously take a sip from his tea and cleared his throat before speaking up.

"Well, you can handle them."He bluntly said and look towards them.

"Right, Zackyro?"Specifically to that guy who's about to stand up and approach the roses.

I raised an eyebrow. Hmm.

Hindi ko naman naiwasan na mapangisi nang makita kong bigla na namang dumilim ang paningin niya tuwing nababanggit namin ang tungkol sa bagay na 'to.

It's like he's being triggered or provoked out of something. Huh, sure is.

"The Alum is already taking care of it, even they're still not on the move."Treck butted in and casually answered Crimson.  Napasandal naman ako nang marinig ko yung sinabi niya at hindi napigilan na taasan siya ng kilay na agad niya namang napansin.

"What?"I scoffed upon hearing what he said.

"Is that why you suddenly called us and asked if you could all come?"He awkwardly laugh for what he heard.

The others also couldn't help but to chuckled for what I just said. Napaismid naman ako bago muling kumain ng ferrero.

"As far as I can remember, this is place is our home, Treck. Not a resort."I eventually blunted out while looking at him directly with my eyes.

Napangiwi naman siya at saka napakamot sa batok niya nang marinig ang huling sinabi ko.

"About that. When are you going back?"Sky suddenly interrupted and mentioned about their leave.

"Yeah, it's not like you're going to stay here forever."Flame agreed on the other hand.

"When will you come back?"

We saw how Azraell was about to answer after hearing what Sky asked them, but Zackyro who's beside Violet suddenly blurted out and asked us instead.

Nagkatinginan naman kaming lahat dahil sa naging tanong niya.

Azu and Bri went quickly diverted their attentions towards their brother Crimson who's actually the one who made us left the Alum in the first place, the next day that Zackyro found out Aphrodite left.

All of us immediately look at Crimson who seemed to already expected his question.

"Soon, Zackyro. Soon."

He answered the moment he followed Zackyro with his gaze who just finally get off from his seat and went towards to where the roses are.

Hindi na nga niya narinig pa ang naging sagot sa kaniya ni Crimson. I mentally rolled my eyes.

This place is filled with roses. This guy somehow sure has an eye on them.

"He loves roses."

Violet who seemed to read my mind suddenly mentioned regarding his actions. Tumingin naman siya sa kapatid niya na parang wala na talagang naririnig.

"Oh really?"Roge on the other hand reacted as he smirk after hearing what Violet said to us.

"I thought the Alum knows everything. Do our favorites not included?"The guy named Giovanni suddenly interrupted.

"It's another thing that the Alum knows, Vann."Hugerson answered and messed up with his hair. Tumawa naman sina Axellous at Ryderick nang mangyari 'yon na ikinasimangot naman agad ni Giovanni.

I just shook my head in an unbelievably manner before returning back my attention towards Zackyro who's refraining from touching the roses because of its thorns.

"It's beautiful..."Napangiti naman ako nang marinig namin ang sinabi niya.

Dahil doon ay napatayo ako at nilapitan siya na agad niya namang napansin.

I directly look at him the moment I found myself in front of the roses that he's been staring at ever since we came here.

"It is beautiful, just like her."I saw how he immediately stood frozen after hearing what I said.

Because of all the people here in the greenhouse who heard me, he's the specific person we know who can immediately realized whom I just meant about the roses.

Hindi niya naman napigilan na mapatingin ulit sa mga rosas na ang kikintab ng mga kulay. I just eventually took a quick glimpse towards him before returning back to my seat.

"Huh, what a coincidence."Flame shrugged that made me shrugged, as well.

"It's like they're destined to be together."Halos mapangiwi naman ako nang marinig ko ang sinabi ni Sky.

"Seriously, I know they love each other but hearing that from you is a no-no."I shook my head as I told them that.

Sky and Flame eventually couldn't help but to chuckle and grinned under beneath their breaths as they return their attention toawards Zackyro, who's still not yet done being mesmerized.

"Wow, we grew up with him. How come we didn't know his love for roses?"Axellous butted in, out of nowhere.

Ryderick beside him just shrugged.

"Now, we all know."He eventually blurted out before wiping out his mouth after he took a bite of his cinnamon bread that the servants served us.

Unknowingly, we altogether suddenly look at each other. Roses, huh?
