[Chapter 60: Bounded as One]

*Violet's Point of View

Walang pasintabi akong pumasok sa training hall nang bigla akong tawagin nila Trixie. I almost stood frozen the moment I saw the reason why did they suddenly called me out from my room.

Nang makita naman nila ako ay halos sabay-sabay silang napangiwi, maliban nalang kay Trixie na nagkibit-balikat pa bago ako lapitan at akbayan.

I even heard her chuckled a bit for witnessing my reaction. Dahil doon ay hindi ko napigilan na mapaharap sa kaniya at taasan siya ng kilay.

"What's happening?"I was really trying to calm myself when I asked her that. Sandali naman siyang napatingin sa akin at ngumisi.

"Vi, you know what's happening."She assured me with her smirk as she pointed out what's the situation in the middle of the training hall.

Pagkatapos kong marinig ang sinabi niya ay napapikit ako at huminga ng malalim, bago pagmasdan ang ipinunta ko dito.

"Sorry, Vi."

Kunot-noo naman akong napalingon sa kanila Azraell nang sabihin nila 'yon. I just flashed them a half-smile as a return, before gazing back to Trixie who seems to be enjoying what's happening. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Why did you let him?"I asked like I really can't believe them, making her to look at me, again.

Mas lalo namang lumaki ang ngisi sa akin.

"You know your brother, Vi. When it comes to her, he'll do everything."I facepalmed. God.

Ignoring what she said, I immediately wear my concerned face as soon as I get back watching my brother training exactly this early in the morning.

I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder when it happened.

"What worries me most is his cut. Hindi pa siya pwedeng kumilos ng ganiyan dahil baka bumuka yung hiwa sa gilid ng katawan niya!"

Trixie seemed to noticed what I blurted out, that's why she eventually get rid of the smirk on her face and immediately caressed me in the back when I felt myself in tears.

"What was he thinking?!"I cried out that made everyone else look at me.

"Hey, Vi."

Lumapit naman agad sa amin sila Kuya Hue nang marinig nila ang sinabi ko. Pero mas nabigyan ko pa ng pansin yung taong mukhang napagtantuan na kung ano ang nangyayari.

Kuya rushingly came the moment he saw me crying despite he's in the middle of his training and unfortunately, that made me more went in tears.

Nang makalapit naman siya ay agad ko siyang niyakap na halos ikawala niya naman ng balanse. 

"Hey, what's wrong?"He softly caressed my hair and asked me that eventually made me to scoffed. My god, Kuya.

Kumalas naman ako sa pagyayakap namin at tinignan nalang siya sa mata. When he was about to walk back in the middle of the training hall, he suddenly felt dizzy.

Kumuyom naman bigla ang kamao ko nang mangyari 'yon.

"Okay, that's enough for now."

Hindi ko na hinintay pa ang sasabihin ni Kuya at agad na siyang inakay papalabas ng training hall kasama yung iba sa ayaw o sa gusto niya mang tumigil sa pag-training.

I clicked my tongue.

"How's he, doc?"

Pagkapasok ko palang sa kwarto nina Kuya at Aphrodite ay nakita ko kaagad ang doctor ni Kuya, kaya naisipan kong tanungin agad siya sa kondisyon niya. Agad namam akong napabuntong-hininga nang makita si Kuya na nakahiga at nakatitig kay Aphrodite.

The doctor on the other hand bowed at me before stating about his conditions for what happened.

"Well, the cut seems to not have an infection when I checked it. I really suggest to avoid any strong movements that might cause it to happen. It's relieving that the cut on his body didn't open, despite he's training."

Sandali naman siyang napatingin sa Kuya ko na ngayon ay may balak nang bumangon, kaya agad ko naman siyang pinuntahan at inalalayan. He smiled at me, but I just raised a brow at him. Goodness.

Bumaling naman ako sa doctor at ngumiti.

"Thank you, doc. We'll just call you if there seems to be problem."It was the last thing that I said before the doctor bowed at me once again and leave the room quietly.

Pagkarinig palang namin ng pagkasarado ng pinto ay agad na nawala ang ngiti sa mukha ko at dali-daling lumingon sa kapatid ko na walang humpay kung titigan si Aphrodite.

I smacked his right leg that made him groaned in irritation.

"Vi!"He called me out with a harsh tone within his voice. Mas lalo namang tumaas ang kilay ko nang makita ang naging reaksyon niya.

"What were you thinking going out and training like you didn't came from a fight 10 days ago?"I scolded him like a mother.

Sumandal naman siya sa headboard ng kama niya at tumingin sa akin.

It's actually been 4 days after we witnessed how he woke up from being unconscious and we still keep things strictly prohibited despite he's stable condition.

Hindi ko alam kung balak talaga magpakamatay ng kapatid ko bago pa man magising si Aphrodite.

Napabuga naman ako ng hangin nang makita siyang nakatitig na naman sa kaniya.

"You're blaming yourself, again."I suddenly said out of nowhere. Dahil naman sa sinabi ko ay muli siyang napatingin sa akin.

"It's funny how she let me risk for her, but here she is."I awkwardly smiled when I heard him faked a laugh.

Umupo naman ako sa tabi niya nang mangyari 'yon.

"Well, it's not like you can stop her. You're not going to say to her to stop loving you, so she could stop risking, are you?"I look at Aphrodite and glance back at my brother who's now fists are clenched.

Napailing nalang ako at hinawakan ang kamao niya bago muling magsalita.

"She can't afford to lose you, as well as you don't want to lose her."I said that made him slowly face me and awkwardly smiled.

They are willing to risk themselves for each other, but they don't want to lose each other either.

"That's why she doesn't need to risk herself anymore when she wakes up, and neither I to her."Napakunot naman ang noo ko nang marinig ang naging reaksyon niya sa sinabi ko.

Sinundan ko naman yung tingin niya at tumungo ito doon sa singsing na binigay sa kaniya ni Aphrodite nung umalis siya.

Kuya genly pulled it out and stared at it as if it's the most precious thing in the world.

"We'll risk together, because with this ring, we're bounded as one."

Tumingin siya sa akin at ngumisi.
