[Chapter 16: Behind the Chase]

Agad ko namang binato yung combat knife ko patungo sa mga lalaking 'to na hanggang ngayon ay sinusundan parin kami.

I unknowingly hissed under beneath my breath while trying to think on how we should get these guys out of our sight. The Alum is already kilometers away from where we are, and we need to get rid of them before anything else happens.

"Man, tell me these guys are from the Onyx!"Axe suddenly yelled while continue running that just made me rolled my eyes.

That's one of the reason why we need to get back, because what's happening really needs to talk about.

Damn these bastards.

Nakarinig naman agad ako ng ilang pagkabulagta sa sahig pagkatapos ko ulit silang tirahin ng ilan sa mga combat knives na palagi kong dala na naging dahilan naman para mapangisi ako. Too slow.

Mas lalo naman akong napangisi nang makaisip ako ng paraan.

I immediately stopped from running until I found the perfect spot.

Bigla naman napatingin sa akin sila Hue na naging dahilan para mapatigil din sila sa pagtakbo at tignan kung anong gagawin ko.

"Zace, you've got to be kidding me."Hue suddenly scoffed. But it made me to smirk even more, before doing the best part of the situation.

I quickly diverted my eyes towards the brick wall beside me and didn't have the second thought to jump right through it. Then there, I immediately did a parkour walk the moment I'm on it, before letting go of the force rushing through my body.

Halos mapakunot naman ang noo ko nang may nakita ako sa mga damit nila. I almost lost it the moment I just realized who the hell these guys are. Fuck, just what the fuck.

Eventually, I somehow found myself in the air in a very slow motion before doing a swift back flip and quickly hit their vitals as they realized too late that I was behind their backs.

I put back behind me the combat knives that I was going to use earlier, as I watched all of them immediately fell unconscious.

"I thought you were going to kill them."Axe immediately approach me and seemed to noticed what was my real move. Umigting naman ang panga ko nang marinig ko 'yon at sabay na naglakad patungo doon sa mga lalaking walang tigil sa paghabol sa amin.

"Zace?"

I intently reached out for their suits and carefully take a look of it. Confusion suddenly plastered on my face as I finally confirmed who these guys are.

"Zace, anytime now."Sinamaan ko naman agad ng tingin si Axe bago muling ibalik ang atensyon ko sa mga lalaking 'to.

"I can't kill them."They immediately tilted their heads the moment they heard what I just said.

I firmed my expression and seriously glance back at them before speaking up.

"These guys are from the Alum."I eventually blurted out as I quickly stood up.

"Say what now?"Mabilisan naman silang nagsilapitan sa akin nang marinig nila ang sinabi ko.

"We need Tita Avani to talk."

Wala na akong ibang sinabi kundi 'yon at nanguna na sa paglalakad.
