[Chapter 31: Day After Yesterday]

*Lee's Point of View

"Good morning, heir emperor Lincoln!"

Agad naman akong tumango sa mga servants na bumati sa akin pagkapasok ko palang sa dining hall. One of them immediately pulled out a seat for me as I made my way towards where I usually sit here in the manor.

"Lee!"

Right after I sit, comes Rage and Roge who are still in their pajamas as they both gradually entered. I almost couldn't help but to raised an eyebrow at Rage whom I just noticed eating a lollipop early in the morning.

"Sweet tooth, Lee."He seemed to realized that I was staring blankly at him that's why he casually said that to me while waving the lollipop in the air. Napangiwi naman ako nang dahil sa ginawa niya at tinuon nalang ang atensyon ko sa totoong pagkain na nasa lamesa.

"Do you think he's fine now?"As I gradually put the table napkin on my lap, Roge mentioned about what happened last night, all of a sudden.

Dahil sa sinabi niya ay agad akong napasandal at medyo inalala yung nangyari.

The moment Zackyro confirmed that Margauxe and the professor named Mrs. Kan are now both part of the Onyx, he took a look back at the folders he's holding and eventually, left the secret room right after he did.

His expressiom firmed as we saw how he was immediately surrounded by a dark aura, which we already heard from them, as he scanned everything. He was also about to bring the folders, but as much as to his dismay, we really keep things very strict whenever it's about the secret room.

So unfortunately, we just gave him a general copy of those files. Gladly, he took a good grip before leaving us last night.

"Hope so. Now that he confirmed about them."I eventually shrugged as answer, before gazing back to the table.

"GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!"

Halos sabay naman kaming napangiwi nina Rage at Roge nang biglaang sumulpot nalang si Axellous at pumasok na may ngiti sa labi na parang hindi siya galing sa tulog. I just shook my head in an unbelievably manner as I followed him making his way towards his seat.

"Sorry about him."Bumalik naman ang atensyon namin pabalik sa may entrance ng dining hall, at doon namin nakita si Hue na may hawak pang libro nang sabihin niya 'yon.

"Huh, don't be."Crimson who just entered, as well said that to him.

Dumami naman agad ang mga servants dito sa dining hall nang mapansin nilang isa-isa na kaming nagsisisulputan. Well, except one.

"Violet, where's Zackyro?"She immediately gave us a half-smile the moment he heard what I just asked.

Eventually, she shook her head.

"He's still asleep. He stayed up all night going through the copies that you gave him."She said before putting her table napkin above her lap.

Binigyan niya naman ulit kami ng isang matamlay na ngiti nang mapansin niyang halos lahat kami ay nakatitig sa kaniya.

"Or maybe not."Azure and Flame suddenly pointed out someone towards the entrance.

There, we saw Zackyro entered with his intimidating aura while his hands are both placed inside his pocket. Dahil sa kaniya ay medyo lumiwanag ang mukha ni Violet at saka napahinga ng malalim.

"Good morning, Kuya!"Violet immediately approached him as she get off from her seat and went towards him for a kiss. Tumango naman sa amin si Zackyro, pagkatapos niyang bigyan ng halik sa noo si Violet at umupo sa tabi niya.

"Violet said that you stayed up all night."Halos mapaismid naman ako nang ulitin ni Triton yung sinabi sa amin kanina ni Violet.

"Triton."I called out his name and widened ny eyes towards him. Triton on the other hand just jokingly shrugged before facing the food in front of him.

Napailing nalang ako at sandaling binigyan ng pansin si Zackyro na medyo nakakuyom na nama ang mga kamao.

If Violet didn't calm him down, I'm sure he'll lose his apetite, once more.

Halos mapailing naman ako nang makita ko kung paano maglaro sina Roge kasama yung iba sa sa may pool dito sa likod ng manor. I, on the other hand just directly went straight towards where Crimson and Triton are hanging out.

But I almost stopped the moment that I forgot something back inside, making me to turn around and changed directions.

"Lee, where are you going?"Rage who seemed to noticed me from the pool suddenly called me out.

Kumaway lang ako sa kaniya at umiling.

"Just forgot something!"Tumango naman silang lahat na naging dahilan naman para magpatuloy ako sa paglalakad pabalik sa loob.

I unknowingly nod back as the butlers from the backdoor bow down at me, as they saw me coming over.

Agad naman akong dumiretso sa daan papunta ng living hall nang bigla kong makita si Zackyro sa may receiving area ng manor.

Instead going straight towards where am I supposed to go, I casually changed my direction and went towards him as I decided to do so.

"Zackyro."I called out his name.

Napalihis naman ang tingin niya sa akin, na naging dahilan naman para tignan ko kung anong pinagkakaabalahan niya dito at wala siya sa labas.

I almost could't help but to shook my head in disbelief as I saw him going through with the folders, again. Seriously?

"You're here for an escapade, Zackyro. Why not join the others outside?"I leaned on to the wall as I said that to him. Napabuntong-hininga naman siya bago isarado yung folders na binigay namin sa kaniya bilang copy. Napailing nalang ako nang mangyari 'yon.

"You already confirmed that they're the reason why you're attacked inside Luxe University, right?"Mukhang napantig naman ang tenga niya dahil sa sinabi.

I can't help but to smirk as I saw how he clenched his fist.

"There's a time for that back in the Philippines."I assured him as I raised an eyebrow at him. Hindi niya na rin napigilan na mapangisi at tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo.

"I guess you're right."Tumango naman ako at saka siya inakbayan.

Kinuha ko naman yung naiwan kong shades sa may living hall, at sabay na kaming naglakad ni Zackyro papunta sa labas.
