[Chapter 12: Sudden Return]

*Violet's Point of View

I unknowingly smiled as a relief and immediately close my eyes at the same time after lying down in my bed. Halos kakatapos lang ng morning training namin at maya-maya ay babalik na naman kami, kaya mas minabuti ko munang dumiretso dito sa kwarto ko at nagpasya na magpahinga.

I gradually lifted my arms in the air and reached out the ceiling, so I could feel a little bit of a stretch.

But I suddenly titled my head in confusion and immediately furrowed my forehead afterwards, the moment I heard a beep coming from my phone. Agad naman akong napatigil sa pag-stretch at mabilisang bumangon para kunin yung phone ko na nasa side table para tignan kung anong meron.

I quickly opened it up and saw a notification from Tita Avani.

"Wait, now?"I suddenly muttered under beneath my breath.

Kunot-noo kong tinignan yung phone ko, pero mas lalo lang kumunot ang noo ko matapos mabasa yung loob ng notification ko.

How sudden. Tita Avani wants to see us? I mean, it's not like I don't want to see her.

It's just pretty surprising for me because as far as I know, she's been busy handling out things inside the university. Minsan nalang namin siyang nakikita dito sa loob ng Alum, kahit may contact parin kami sa kaniya.

It's actually been months, the last time that we heard she made this kind of call.

Umiling nalang ako at muling binalik yung phone ko sa may side table kasabay ng tuluyan kong pagbangon mula sa kama para maglakad patungo sa banyo.

Well, there's only one thing to do.

After a couple of minutes, I already found myself in front of the full-length mirror of my room to eventually groom myself the moment I'm done taking a quick half-bath.

"Violet?"

Napatigil ako sa pag-aayos nang marinig ko 'yon. I immediately went to see my intercom screen to see who that person was. Halos mapataas naman ang kilay ko nang makita sina Kuya Axe at Kuya Rye sa labas ng kwarto ko.

I just quickly opened the door and let them come in.

"Vi!"Ngiting bumati naman agad sa akin si Kuya Axe habang hawak-hawak yung bandana niya. Kuya Rye on the other hand swiftly removed his hoodie the moment they entered.

"Is there something wrong?"I curiously asked.

Nagkatinginan naman silang dalawa at sabay na nilabas yung phone nila. I waited and eventually, they showed me the same thing that I received from Tita Avani.

"We knew you received it. Pinapasundo ka na ni Zace dahil mukhang ikaw nalang ang hinihintay sa Hall of Reign."Kuya Rye stated while returning his phone back from his hoodie pocket.

Tumango naman agad ako sa sinabi niya kahit nagtatataka ako. Couple of minutes later, I'm finally done grooming myself.

Eventually, I took a quick glimpse from the mirror before making my way out together with them.

Hmm. What's so important that made Tita Avani the one who took the initiative to see us, anyway?

"Kuya."I immediately approach him the moment I entered Hall of Reign where everybody seemed to wait for me.

I just awkwardly smile and waved at them.

Binigyan naman ako ng isang ngiti ni Tita nang mangyari 'yon, bago siya tumayo at libutin kaming lahat gamit ang mga mata niya.

"Everybody's here, Tita."Treck suddenly interrupted and said that. Tumango naman ulit si Tita Avani bago siya muling umupo at tumikhim muna.

"I want you to return."Halos mawalan naman ako ng balanse nang marinig yung biglaang sinabi niya. Inalalayan naman agad ako ni Kuya nang mangyari 'yon, bago siya tumingin kay Tita na seryoso na ngayon ang mukha.

"Wait, what?"

"Treck, you're going to stay. The same thing goes with both Ulysses and Azraell. "Hindi niya pinansin yung naging tanong sa kaniya ni Kuya at nilihis ang atensyon niya papunta sa kanila Treck.

I raised my eyebrow. Say what now?

Dumako naman bigla ang atensyon niya sa amin. Halos mapagitla naman ako ng biglang tumayo si Trixie nang wala sa oras.

"Return? As in, go back? You mean-"Bago pa man matapos ang gusto niyang sabihin ay agad na tumango si Tita Avani sa kaniya.

What makes it more confusing is, she just suddenly smile the moment she answered her conclusion.

"Yes, Trixie. I want you all to return."Mas lalo lang kaming nagtaka nang lumaki ang ngiti niya.

"I want you all to return back inside Luxe University."

There, I was literally quite frozen after the third time that she repeated what she meant.

Halos magkatinginan naman kaming lahat nang marinig na talaga namin ang gusto niyang mangyari. Back inside? Napadako naman agad ang tingin ko kay Kuya na kanina pa tahimik at mukhang may malalim na iniisip pagkatapos naming marinig 'yon.

Hindi ko naman naiwasan na mapailing at tumingin kay Tita. It's been already half of the year, and I almost can't remember the exact day when was the last time I went from L.U.

"Wait, they're still going to be in touch with the Alum, right?"Ulysses suddenly approached Tita and asked her that. Halos napahinga naman ako ng maluwag nang makitang tumango siya at muli kaming tinignan.

"That's exactly why I want you to return back."Pero bumalik na naman agad ako sa pagkunot ng noo nang marinig 'yon.

"What do you mean exactly?"Kuya Hue suddenly blurted out at Tita the moment we heard what she said.

Agad namang napadako ang atensyon ni Tita sa kaniya at muli na namang ngumiti.

Here she goes again with her smiles.

Halos mapaismid naman kaming lahat nang makitang umiling siya bilang sagot.

"Wait, you mean Levi and Vann are going to return back inside, too?"Tita Avani immediately nodded upon hearing what I just asked.

Nagkatinginan naman sina Levi at Vann nang makita yung naging sagot ni Tita Avani sa akin bago sabay na magkibit-balikat.

"You called us all here, so you could suddenly announced to us about returning back?"Tita Avani nodded once more after hearing what my brother said.

"Trust me and return back."

That was the last thing that she said before letting us face her back and eventually left us here, dumbfounded.
