IVY'S POV
Today was Friday August 9th, today was mine an Axel's rehearsal dinner. Tomorrow is our actual wedding day and then on the 11th which a Sunday we'll be on our way for the honeymoon.

Everyone was here, Axel's parents and Angelina, Arlo of course, all the guys, Michael and his girlfriend Athena, Elora, and then lastly was the guy that was officiating the wedding and then our photographer and wedding planner as well as her assistant.

The backyard was setup already, which the setup we had now would be how it would look tomorrow.

We were all dressed up but causal, I was wearing a long cream two piece dress. And my bridesmaids were wearing the same color just not style.

And then Axel had on dark grey slacks and a cream button up top, same for the groomsmen.

"Okay, so Michael and Athena. You guys will walk down and Michael you'll go off to the right where Axel is standing and Athena you go to the left where Ivy will be eventually,"

"And then it'll be Roland and Arlo who walks next, you guys doing the same thing Michael and Athena did prior,"

"After you guys, it'll be Lincoln and Elora. And then it'll be Thorn and Angelina,"

"So Axel if you can stand there, and everyone else follow me. Okay so Ivy and Matthew if you guys could link arms that would be great,"

"And lets just see how this works, okay so Michael and Athena you guys head out first," Our wedding planner said directing us to where we needed to be.

"Okay, now Roland and Arlo," She said gesturing to them, and they linked arms and started walking.

There's about a two minute pause before she told Lincoln and Elora walk, them as well linking their arms together.

And then Thorn and Angelina was the last of the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

"Okay, Ivy and Matthew link arms and then start walking," She said and Matthew looked down at me and smiled and I smiled back.

I was grateful to him for walking me, but at the same time I was heartbroken my own father couldn't do it.

No, don't think about this right now. It's not the time.

When Axel an I laid eyes on each other, even though I had just seen him. It just seemed so surreal that in 16 hours we would really be doing this.

And I couldn't help but tear up at that thought.

Once Matthew an I got up to Axel, we realized we had a bit of a problem.

"Should we just cut that part out?" Our wedding planner asked.

We'd gotten to the point where the officiant had to ask who gives this woman to this man.

I was trying not to cry, I was already on edge but that just made it worse. Fuck drunk drivers.

I went to speak but nothing would come out, I kept clearing my throat. "Just cut that part out, when we get here we can just hug and Matthew can hand me off to Axel," I was finally able to get out.

Matthew and I redid our part, and when we got to Axel. Matthew kissed my forehead and gave Axel a hug and then Axel an I laced our hands together.

We continued rehearsing this part two more times, we had to skip the part where we did our vows as we obviously didn't want the other to know what we had written.

We rehearsed everything probably another five times before we could eat the dinner Josie had prepared.

We all mingled with each other and it was so nice to have our friends and family here to celebrate something so big and special to us.

"Axel an I just wanted to thank all of you for not only coming, but also for participating in our wedding. It truly means so much to us and we can't wait to see all of you guys later for the big day," I said as Axel an I stood in front of everyone.

The setup was left the way is was so it would have to be completely redone later on today.

That's right it's after midnight, and our wedding is now 12 hours away and I needed sleep.

"Come on, we need to join our daughter because I can't get up at 7 to get ready if we don't get to bed soon," I told Axel as I grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs.

Once we were in the bedroom, I took a shower and took my makeup off before getting into one of my big oversized shirts.

Axel said he'd take a shower in the morning since it wouldn't take long, we were both in bed and Morgan had started to wake and fuss so I picked her up and started feeding her.

She was almost 6 months, she'd actually be turning 6 months while we were off on our honeymoon and I was pretty upset at the timing.

But it was also exciting, because when we came back we could move her in her nursery.

"How was today for you?" Axel asked as I continued to feed Morgan.
I let out a sigh knowing what he was talking about.

"It was hard, while I am so grateful for your dad to walk me. I can't help but wish is was my dad doing it instead, and then when it came to him handing me off to you and what to say. I nearly lost it," I said and he stared intently at me.

"Doll I can't imagine what you're going through, I wish I did so I could help you better. I know you want your parents here, hell I've never met them but I want them here because if you're anything like them they damn must be amazing people,"

"But we're going to get through today, one step at a time. If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed we'll take a break, even if it sets time back this is your day just as much as it is mine and I need my doll in prime condition," He said and I could feel the tears I had build up slip down my face.

"I love you so much, I'm so lucky to have you," I said trying my best to kiss him in the weird position I was in.
"I love you too, but keep the vows for later," He winked and I couldn't help but laugh.

Even at my lowest moments, he could always cheer me up. And that's what I loved most about him.
