Blip blop.
10k views?? I can't- thank you so so so so SO much!! I can't believe thisss!

I'm so so thankful I love you guys so much.

Also I recently got some advice from my buddy Jade and I've been working on applying the feedback but I haven't applied it to this chapter.

I just really need to get a chapter out ahndnfa. Especially since I'm going camping and I'm in the middle of assessment time at school.

But I am working on it so thank you!! I'm considering taking a break to develop my writing skills and apply that feedback. But I don't know.

Anyway, yeah. I love receiving feedback so you're reading this, pleasee give me feedback! I will be forever grateful if you do.

Preferably not grammer though because I know it's bad. I'd just like to focus on improving my writing itself.

So things to look at if you wanna help me out is if I describe characters well, describe scenes well, that kind of thing. Do I use too many or too little literacy devices? (metaphors, similes, that kind of stuff.)

Anyway yeah I'll stop talking now haha.

A shiver is sent down my spine as I approach the house. Maybe this is a bad idea. I reach the doorstep and take a deep breath. No, it's not. I've got this... It's just a party. Just some people. I knock on the door and step back a bit, fiddling with the edge of my shirt.

The door is swung open and a slightly intoxicated looking man is standing before me. He has shaggy hair, circular glasses and beautiful brown eyes. He's holding a can of beer in his left hand as he brushes his hair out of his face with the other.

"Hey." I snap out of my daze and try to play it cool. "Um, h-hi." So much for playing it cool... "Come in. The party host is over there, snack table there and those people are playing some games."

I nod and look around. I already want to leave. This really isn't my kind of environment. But then I might never see the cute stranger again.

"Do you know anyone here?" I shake my head. "Well I'm Adam." He holds his hand out. I shake it awkwardly, "Want a drink?" I decline and glance around the room again. "Alright, well... Why don't we get to know each other. What do you do in your free time?" I think for a moment, "Uh, I'm studying maths." Adam nods.

He still seems pretty dazed. I can't tell if it's the alcohol or something else. Maybe he's a little nervous too? "Uh... what about you? What do you do for a living? Or fun?"

Adam thinks for a moment, "I dunno. I'm just doing some part time jobs to save up for college. I play some video games. Overwatch is pretty good."

I nod. The conversation falls to an uncomfortable silence. I need to say something to keep this conversation up. "So uh, what's your favourite-" We both start saying different things at the same time. I quickly stop and look up at Adam. His face looks a little red. Shoot what did he say?

"Sorry, you go," We both say. "Oh uh... my thing wasn't that important." "Are you sure?" He nods. "Oh... well I was just gonna ask what your favourite food is." Adam simply shrugs, "Pizza's pretty good. But not, like, Dominos. I'm talking about quality pizza." "Ah, I see you have good taste." We laugh awkwardly and glance around the the house.

"Anywa-" "Hey, you wanna leave?" I look at Adam confused, "Leave?" "Yeah. Leave. This party's lame anyway."

I contemplate my options. We could leave. But I dunno where we'll go. And if I stay he'll probably go without me anyway. Then there'll be nobody for me to talk to. "Uh... sure?" Adam smiles and grabs my hand, gently pulling me out of the house.
