CHAPTER 01
—————

The bright light shone in my eyes notifying me that the black curtains were pulled aside from the window frame and by the sound of it they were done harshly. I turned my body around hiding my head under my pillow to prevent light from hurting my still tired eyes.

How long had I been sleeping? It was probably six in the morning since I knew it was the first day of school and that's why I was being awakened. Had it been an hour and a half? Maybe two? I didn't even remember what time I got home after the last party with which we closed the summer break before going back to school.

"Kim Soji get the fuck up before I smack you the fuck up!!" The so familiar loud and high pitched voice echoed through the no longer silent walls of my room and my blanket was pulled away from me with one swift movement which became very skilled through the years.

The cold morning breeze caused goosebumps to form on my skin as it hit my almost naked body. Now I only had my short grey pyjamas on which barely covered my butt and half of my upper body, leaving my arms and legs naked to the cold morning air. I pulled my legs up, curving my body in a ball to somehow warm myself and continue my sleep although I knew my efforts were useless. She would never let me continue my sleep.

"I said gEt Up!!" With that the pillow from under my head and the one above were both pulled harshly away from me. I groaned as my head hit the mattress at the same time my eyes were left naked to the bright morning sun and I didn't have a choice but to completely awaken myself.

"Fuck you Jina! Can't you be more gentle at least when you wake someone up?!" I looked up at her with half lidded eyes barely adapting to the light after living my life in complete darkness in my room.

I snatched the blanket from her arms which if she didn't want me to take it I wouldn't have, and I wrapped it around my body leaving only my eyes and nose uncovered so I can see and breathe. My body was shaking in coldness. The weather was still hot during the day, but living in a forest for years I learned that the mornings could be cruelly freezing even during the summer.

"For others— maybe. For you— hell nah!" The fire red haired girl smiled evilly at me swinging my pillow across my face making me collapse on the mattress, whine and cry in annoyance since I didn't have the strength to beat her yet. Not after having barely two hours of sleep.

"Why are you torturing me like this?" I questioned sadly, my mouth probably curved in a deep frown as I laid stiff on the bed, too lazy and tired to move yet.

The redhead's smile fell, her expression changing to a serious one. She let out a sigh. Her slender body occupying the place on the bed next to my head. "When did you come home, this morning?" She was about to say last night, but she probably knew I spent the night at someone's place.
