CHAPTER 04
—————

Just like every other day during the years, I was not paying attention in classes at all.

Everything seemed more interesting than the lecture Mrs. Byun was teaching. Besides, knowing that it’s Friday and I had two days and two nights to spend on clubs, my focus was far gone. School was never my thing to begin with and I didn’t care less about my grades, I was never the best student, it was enough for me to finish the year without repeating it.

I was continuously talking around either with Jeno or Renjun or whoever else talked to me. Jaemin hasn’t shown up for a few days after we got trapped in a cell together, which was nothing new as far as Jeno and Renjun told me. They said I couldn’t expect him to go to school at least half of the year, he was obviously worse than me about these school stuff.

Either way I had Haechan, Jeno and Renjun to hang around with, even Jina, Chenle and Jisung on the breaks and a lot more other boys to flirt with. Though I wanted to see Jaemin’s behaviour after almost kissing me. He seemed relentless when trying to do so, so I was impatient to see the development in our relationship.

Once the classes were over I was ditched by everyone. Haechan and Jina left on a date, Jeno and Renjun left to God-knows-where, Jisung and Chenle disappeared too and I was left alone in the school’s yard before I knew it.

I scoffed walking down the sidewalk. I didn’t have a car, I was grounded and couldn’t take anyone’s car this morning and it was still a bright day for me to steal one. I knew if I called anyone to pick me up, they wouldn’t have done it since all of them had a lot of work to get done before we leave for Japan.

For days I've been figuring a way to irritate Taeyong when we get there just so he would understand that once I say I don’t want to go I can ruin the whole trip, but so far I didn’t have any brilliant ideas that would piss him off.

And I didn’t have any idea how to spend the Friday afternoon either which was pretty annoying.

“Look who we got here!” I turned my head to the side in surprise facing the person that had started walking next to me. A playful half grin on his face as he slid his arm around my waist. And I got goosebumps, most probably because I am too ticklish. “Hey love!” He winked as my eyes locked with his blue ones. The same playful sparkle shining in them like the previous time I had seen them.

I smirked. “It’s been a while Mr. Skipping-School-From-The-First-Week.” I said with a teasing tone as I playfully rolled my eyes side to side with almost every word.
