CHAPTER  09
—————

The Central Club in Tokyo was very crowded. Sweaty bodies and drunk people were everywhere around me, I had barely some fresh air to breathe diving deeper in the crowd. “Excuse me!” and “Sorry!” left my mouth around hundred times as I pushed my way through searching for my red haired friend and the leader’s girlfriend.

Mark and Haechan had Jaemin under control while my excuse for leaving him to them was spending some time with the girls. Even though I didn’t really want to go to Japan, now that I was here I felt the need to catch up with my old traitor friend that I never liked in the first place.

I finally saw two familiar redheads and two brunettes not far from me occupying one of the booths near the bar. I sighed heavily once I finally reached them gaining their attention.
"Okay we got Mark and Haechan taking care of Jaemin. Where's my old friend?" I asked the leader. I had to talk as loud as I could so they could hear me despite the loudness of the music and I found myself shouting once I reached them.

"It's time to find her." Instead of Taeyong, I got a response from the other redhead as she smirked widely at me and we high fived completely understanding each other with a single shared look.

We both loathed the target we had to take care of tonight, so this was a definition for fun for both of us. Though we didn’t have a defined reason to hate the woman, she just seemed like trouble ever since we first met her.

Dayeon, Jina and I— the female squad searched through the place trying to spot the woman. With every second I felt like we were getting closer to her and as the thoughts overwhelmed me I felt the need to torture her as soon as possible. I needed to release some punches on a living punching bag, I hadn’t done that in a while.

The colourful blinking lights that blinded us all every now and then made it harder for us to spot the woman. Every woman looked the same as we scanned as many as our eyes landed on, but none of them matched the looks of the one we were looking for.

I didn’t know where Taeyong and Yuta found the information that the woman was here. I didn’t doubt them at all, but spending so long on searching made me feel unsure if she was still there after they located her. But the second I started loosing hope I spotted the so familiar slim thirty five year old woman that I craved to kill. "There she is! My bestie!" I yelled loudly pointing a finger at the blonde woman sitting on the bar with a drink in her hand and a smile as she enjoyed staring around the dancing half naked people in the crowd.

"I thought I was your bestie?" Jina asked me furrowing her eyebrows even though she knew I meant it sarcastically. I rolled my eyes playfully at her and smiled innocently as I looked back at the target.
