CHAPTER 10
—————

The splash of cold water against the blondie's face finally woke her up and I threw the bucket aside causing loud reverberating sounds as it hit the floor. “Wakey wakey Manami!!” I yelled and grabbed her chin after she was done caughing out water. To say I didn’t know the feeling of sitting on that chair, I'd lie. I had been in the exact same position many times in my life.

Legs tied to the chair's legs, arms tied behind the back supporter of the chair, your whole body becoming stiff and numb from staying in the same position for too long. Manami had spent twelve hours sleeping in like that and now that I finally awoke her we could start our small chit-chat.

“What do you want Soji? Is this another one of your games?” The woman asked. Her blue eyes narrowed in a glare at me while drops of water were dripping down her still sleepy face. Makeup melting off of her angry face, dark marks of mascara under her eyes and drops of concealer dripping off with the water. She was used to be played by Yuta, Jina and I every time we came here, but this was not it.

I smiled enjoying the sight in front of me way too much for my own good. Seemed like coming to Japan wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

“Unfortunately for you, no sweetie.” I grinned putting a strand of hair behind her ear before stepping away from her to reveal our one and only leader standing a few steps away, back leaned against the wall as he took a sip of his wine goblet filled with the orange juice he took from the breakfast in the hotel. It was a sardonic sight, but once Manami caught his eyes her face paled although he looked rather chilled out.

“T-Taeyong..?” She stuttered as the redhead left his glass in his girlfriend’s hands and approached the woman instead. His footsteps echoing around the walls of the completely emptied room with the blinds of the windows down and a dim yellow lightbulb as the only source of light.

“Hi Manami...” The leader’s voice was cold and low. The way his lips curved in a dangerously cruel smirk sent chills down my own body and I couldn’t even imagine the way the blondie felt as he neared to her with the exact same murderous look on his face.

The woman's face immediately flushed in fear and despair. She stared at him with wide eyes, not daring to move. I couldn’t tell if she was even breathing while her fearful eyes stared cowering under Taeyong’s dark ones. "I-I... W-Why am I here? I though Jina, Soji and Yuta were joking with me again. What are you doing here, boss?"

I chuckled knowing she knew the reason very well but acted clueless. The leader sighed walking slowly towards her. “Wouldn’t it be rude of me to not say hello while I’m already here, dear?” Taeyong asked with the creepy smirk still on his face as he lowered his body to reach her eye level.
