CHAPTER 30
—————

That's exactly the reason why Taeyong was always unsure of me when it came to missions, I was always obstinate and didn't go with the plans he gave. True, I had never fucked up a big job, but there were many times when it got more difficult because of me. And this time I was too serious to fuck it up, yet too careless to listen to him.

I didn’t know if the rest entered the lightless factory, but I was already slowly making my way through the place. I made small leisure and careful soundless steps forward, the shotgun raised in front of me like it became one with my hands as I looked around me cautiously. My sixth sense was on, hearing and eyesight drastically heightened, I could literally detect every single sound that echoed in the place— water dripping slowly somewhere down the corridor; people talking in the far distance where I was headed to although I was alone and didn’t know how many there were.

I could take them. If I couldn’t, well I was okay with dying so whatever. I didn’t really have a good reason to stay anyway.

I kept walking, following the sound of men talking some Chinese stuff I wasn’t capable of recognizing until I reached a corridor enlightened by nothing but a faint light from one room. Two men in black suits stood on each side of the entrance without a door. Both of them clueless about my presence until two gunshots echoed through the building coming exactly from my weapon.

I stepped aside, hiding behind a wall once I heard panicked men rushing out of the room where they were all gathered. I observed from my hiding spot while all of them scattered around in search for me. I smirked aiming at one of the three men that were walking my way. Darkness was always on my side, always... They were exposed to me because of how used I was to the dark, yet they couldn’t see me hiding inside the darkest hole in the factory.

I shot once– one man down, the rest two for a split second focusing their attention to the falling corpse. In the meantime another man down and a second later the last and easiest one shot dead in the head, it was as easy as that for me to remove them from the face of the earth.

I left my hiding spot to go for the rest, but what I didn’t expect was people left in the only lightened room that almost got me, only they were too shook from my naked appearance to actually focus and shoot. I chuckled psychotically again, once again a smirk curved the side of my painted lips upwards.

“What? Haven’t seen a woman’s body before?” I questioned with a flirty wink just in time for one of them to snap back to reality and actually shoot, but someone was fast enough to pull me back behind the wall outside right before the man fired his gun at me.
