CHAPTER 12
—————

The moment I opened my eyes I knew I haven't had enough sleep.

Usually I would sleep till the late afternoon after staying up so late in the night, but this time maybe I subconsciously knew I had a little girl I had to keep an eye on so I didn't even have much sleep.

When I awakened I saw the little human being sitting straightened on the king sized bed, most probably she had just woken up too. She looked sleepy rubbing her eyes with her tiny palms and as much as I felt too tired and annoyed to not get full twelve hours of sleep since eight were too little for me, I couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of me.

And I couldn't help but notice how pretty the little girl looked once she flattered her eyelashes cutely at me. Her long wavy hair darker than the midnight sky and eyes so light blue that they almost looked white when the light hit her face through the wide window.

"Good morning dear." I voiced out also rising up from the bed. I smiled at the little girl that only blinked at me in confusion. Only then I realized I talked in Korean to a Japanese girl. I mentally face palmed myself and repeated the same expression in Japanese receiving a soft "Good morning" back. I chuckled at her cuteness and extended my hand in front of her. "I'm Soji. What's your name?" I asked with a wide smile.

The girl put her small palm in mine shyly. "I'm Nara..." She mumbled timidly with small voice.

"You have a very beautiful name dear." I grinned and the cutie giggled. For my surprise she didn't cry at all while staying with a stranger. Knowing that Taeyong and Yuta brought her from a gangsters' celebration, she surely had criminals parents, but she seemed to be raised so good and well-mannered for a mobsters' daughter. It made me smile wider. "So Nara, how old are you?"

"Five..." She answered showing me an opened hand. "How old are you?" The cutie asked me back and I chuckled.

"How much would you give me?" I raised an eyebrow in curiosity and she thought about it, small finger on her chin as she hummed deep in thoughts.

"Mmm... you're probably... a thousand years old?!" She question-answered cutely. Her cute big eyes widened in childish curiosity and I just laughed at her answer. Suddenly feeling a lot more cheerful with a child around me.

"So I am a vampire then."

She nodded her head with a wide smile and she giggled. "A pretty vampire." And my heart melted making me laugh even harder at her cuteness. I just got a compliment from a little girl which I expected to be terrified of me once she woke up.
