I was making supper in the kitchen while Louis was giving our son a bath. I took the salt from the cabinet next to the stove when I heard Louis yell, "(y/n)! Come here! Quick!" I dropped the salt on the ground and ran to the bathroom thinking something was wrong. "Louis! What's wrong!?" I asked when I got there. When I went in the bathroom, I saw Louis sitting on the floor playing with (y/s/n) in the bathtub. They were completely fine. I gave him a confused look, "what do you want?" "(Y/s/n) just said his first word," Louis smiled at me. I smiled, "really?" He nodded and pat the floor next to him and I sat down. "(Y/s/n), say Dada," Louis smiled and (y/s/n) looked at him. "D-dada," (y/s/n) said and Louis smiled. "Aww," I cooed, brushing his wet hair back with my fingers. (Y/s/n) started laughing and splashing the water, soaking me. Louis laughed and said, "now you're wet, too," I shook my head. "Well, I'm glad he said his first word, but now I have to clean up the mess in the kitchen," I said, getting up and giving Louis a quick kiss before going back to the kitchen.
