Part 47

After ten days , 

Nandu is sitting in front of the dressing table getting ready for naming and craddle ceremony of kummud ki baby, but her mind is fully occupied by what manik  told her yesterday evening.

Flash back ....

Manik is sitting in the balcony , nandu comes there and sits beside him with coffee ;

Nandu : major , what's wrong ??? You know right , you can share with me .

Manik : nothing it's been already more than 20 days , I need to go back .

Nandu : r u sure , there is nothing more than this , it's been many days I am watching u so dull, I thought of giving you some time , but no you are not telling me .....

Manik : there is something , but I can't  say it to you .

Nandu : you can share anything with me , I will never judge you .

Manik : I know but I'm scared to ask u this .

Nandu : you can ask me anything ???

Manik : actually , I am promoted to the head of training academy , I don't have to work on borders for an year , bcoz of my injury my lieutenant general who is a well wisher of mine transferred me to academy .

Nandu : that's a good news you got promoted and in academy the risk is also less , r u not happy ???

Manik : I'm happy and at the same time I want to ask u something , I don't know how will u react.

Nandu : ask me major .

Manik : will you come with me ???

Nandu : what ??

Manik : this one year I can live in quarters or my own home , it would be only training the cadets , I will go in the morning and come back by evening , I just thought of asking you to come with me , not bcoz I have general duty , just bcoz I want to know you better , I want our relationship to become better , I want to spend more time with u , I don't know after this year I may get a chance or not to spend time with you , so thought of asking u , I know it's very hard for u to leave your job and both the families but just thought to be with you atleast for some days , but I know u don't want to come , that's what is bothering me , I didn't knew how to ask u or tell u  , but it's okay , u don't have to come , I will only try to come home taking more holidays ....

Nandu just sat there silently not knowing what to say .

Manik : come on doctor , stop thinking . Thats y I thought not to say you ....

Nandu : major , vo...

Manik : relax , I understand .

Nandu just hugged him tight but didn't say anything, manik hugged her back.....

Present ...

Manik sees nandu sitting in front of the mirror lost in her thoughts .

Manik : oye doctor sunna

On listening this she comes out of her thoughts , and saw manik standing behind her .

Nandu : five minutes , than let's leave .

Manik : stop thinking too much , I already booked my ticket so plz don't think too much .

Nandu : okay .

Both of them moved  out of their room to see the whole family waiting for them, they all left  to Murthy mansion.

Shikar recieved all of them , nandu avni left to  kummud room to see her getting ready with the help of mukti and  Aliya, kusum sister of kummud is playing with the baby boy .
