[In the distance, amidst the ravages of battle, Holly Blue Agate and Spinel find themselves in trouble as they try to get away from such devastation.]
Peridot: Did you see who's there?
Connie: Yeah, I did.
Lapis: What do we do with them?
Connie: Let's go get them, we'll take them with us too.
[Connie, Lapis, and Peridot fly quickly towards Holly and Spinel.]
Peridot: Hold it right there, you clods!
Spinel: *surprised* What the hell?!
Holly Blue Agate: You!? What the fuck do you assholes want now?!
Connie: You two are coming with us too.
Lapis: Rest assured.
[Lapis catches Holly Blue and Spinel with water chains.]
Holly Blue Agate: Let me go right now!
Lapis: Another one to the list.
Spinel: Hah! This won't stop me.
[Spinel shapeshifts her body into a smaller one, getting free from the water chains.]
Spinel: *laughter* Try and catch me, you fools!
[Spinel escapes by jumping and stretching while slithering through the rubble with great speed and dexterity, as if she were a snake.]
Lapis: She hid in the rubble.
Connie: That Gem is quite elusive.
Lapis: Her elastic ability is also annoying.
Peridot: It's going to be a real pain in the ass to catch her.
Connie: So it seems.
Lapis: I could-- No, I'd better not.
Peridot: Do you think you can handle her?
Lapis: I might. I'd rather not risk it, though. You must have an idea why by now.
Peridot: No, it's okay, we trust you. If you think you can handle her without losing control, then stop worrying about it and go get her.
Lapis: Ok then, just hold these Gems for me, please.
[Lapis says as she freezes the water chains, which hold Holly, Bluebird, Mean Lapis and Jasper, the latter two still unconscious.]
Peridot: Good luck.
Lapis: Thank you. It'll be a piece of cake anyway.
Peridot: If you say so.
[Connie and Peridot hold tightly to the ice chains, Lapis then flies off in search of Spinel.]
Lapis: Tch. Where could she be?
Connie: *shouts* Lapis, look out!
Peridot: Behind you!
Lapis: Huh?!
[Spinel suddenly appears behind Lapis, she is seen wielding the rejuvenator, so she then attacks Lapis with it.]
Lapis: Damn it!
[Lapis performs a maneuver and barely dodges Spinel's attack, losing both water wings in the process, as Spinel managed to cut them off with her rejuvenator. As a result, Lapis now finds herself falling to the ground.]
