Steven: *terrified* Wh-wh-what'd you just do?!

Emerald: It's over, Steven! *laughs*

[The Diamond blast slowly approaches the planet until it collides with the atmosphere.]

【Now from Steven and Emerald's perspective in space.】

Emerald: It's over, Steven! The blast has just passed through the atmosphere, it's only a matter of time before--

[Steven turns pink and disappears from Emerald's sight in less than a second.]

[Steven flies very, very fast, faster than ever, everything around him is still, not in slow motion, but as if time had literally stopped. Steven then manages to get in front of the diamond blast and makes a supergiant shield with which he tries to reflect the blast before it spreads across the planet.]

[The glow that had previously covered all the Gems on the planet was only an illusion or mirage created at the moment of the light's collision with the planet's atmosphere. In reality, Steven is giving his all to reflect the real diamond blast with a supergiant shield that is almost the same size as the planet. It all happened so fast, it was imperceptible to everyone.]
