When the League of Villains entered their hideout, they all got into fighting stances. A foreign presence in the room told them they were in danger. It almost seemed like they spotted her at the same time; a strange woman sat on a pile of crates in the middle of the room.

From her position, Mariko looked down at them, a delighted smile on her face as her gaze shifted to the group of criminals below her. Among them stood Hawks, who's clenched jaw and stiff shoulders told her he was more nervous than the rest of them. He tried to mask it with a glare, but it was half-hearted as he fought the instinct to just grab her and fly out of the room.

Shigaraki, who had been in a bad mood the entire day, had no patience to deal with the random woman who'd wandered into their lair. "Dabi, kill her," he instructed.

Hawk's eyes widened as Dabi thrust out his hand to turn her into ash. A moment passed, however, and nothing happened.

Mariko smiled, but this smile was different. She smiled cruelly and sadistically like she was enjoying the surprised, confused, and slightly frightened expression. The most terrifying part was that it looked completely natural stretching across her lips. Her expression was nothing short of condescending as she looked down at them in every sense of the word. "What's wrong?" she asked Dabi, "I thought the boss-man said to kill me?"

Keigo shivered slightly at her icy and unimpressed tone. The glint in her blue eyes made it seemed like they glowed. He suddenly wondered if the person standing in front of them was really Mariko. Was his girlfriend really capable of acting like this? A small part of him hoped that this was some sort of fluke because seeing her like this had him questioning how well he knew her.

Dabi leveled a murderous glare at the woman, but it didn't faze her in the slightest. "Ooooh, that's quite an expression, Dabi, chills. I got chills," she teased.

"You bitch the fuck did you do to my quirk?" he asked.

The brunette shrugged, "Did I do something?" she wondered, tilting her head in thought.

"Whatever. I'll just kill you with my bare hands," he growled as he launched himself at her.

Hawks flinched, his body reacting faster than his mind as he started to move to save her. Reining in his thoughts, however, he forced himself to stand down and ignore the burning desire to shoot out feathers and nail Dabi to the wall.

Mariko didn't need him to save her though. Faster than the eye could see, Mariko had jumped off the stack of crates and landed on the ground. She leaned against the wall, looking up at the ravenette with a bored and expectant expression.

He growled and launched himself at her again, only for her to sidestep the attack and grab his arm. In a moment she had it pinned to his back.

The dark-haired male struggled and bared his teeth at her as she nearly dislocated his shoulder.

Mariko leaned down, her lips level with his ear: "You've got a temper now. You were much more docile back then," she commented, "stop struggling it only makes it hurt worse," she instructed.

Whether it was from shock that someone recognized him, or because he wanted the pain to stop, Dabi stilled. His turquoise eyes went wide, and there was a bit of fear present in them as his mind raced. This girl... this girl he didn't remember knew him and had disarmed him in every way possible in less than two minutes.

Meanwhile, everyone stared at the scene in shock. Dabi had always been their best fighter, not only that but he was the most difficult to handle so for him to practically go limp at her hands so quickly left quite an impression.
