Cassiopeia Black watched in amazement as her daughter's hair rapidly switched colors.
"She's doing it again?" Sirius said with a smile as he walked over.
"I don't know if she's doing it on purpose or if it's just randomly happening" Cassiopeia said with a small laugh. "Anyways, I'll be back soon, I told Lily I'd come by with Y/N tonight" Cassiopeia said as she held one year old Y/N Black to her side.
"I thought you were going to Alice's today?"
"I went yesterday, Neville is just the sweetest thing, he and Y/N just get along so beautifully" Cassiopeia said, her eyes love filled.
"Be careful." Sirius said placing a kiss each on his wife and his daughter's foreheads. "Remember to alwa-"
"Always have my wand ready, yeah yeah, I know you say it everyday" Cassiopeia said with a knowing smirk.
Sirius chuckled, his eyes shifting between his wife and daughter before placing a gentle kiss on Y/N's cheek.
"Da" Y/N babbled, reaching out for her father.
"I'll see you later Y/N" Sirius said with a smile waving goodbye to his small but perfect family.
Cassiopeia walked to the fireplace grabbing a handful of floo powder. She held on tightly to Y/N stepping inside.
"Godric's Hollow!" She exclaimed, forcefully throwing the floo powder to the floor.
She landed on the dark gray streets of Godric's Hollow and walked towards the unmistakeable Potter's Cottage. She and Sirius were just a few of the people who were able to see the cottage.
Peter who was the secret keeper, had granted them both access.
She went up the small steps and knocked on the door. Within a couple of seconds the door opened cautiously and a wand was pointed right at her face.
"Hello James" she said.
"How do you unlock the marauder's map" he said, his features not displaying their usual warmth, and his tone of voice sounding suspicious.
" 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good' " Cassiopeia said easily, aside from Lily and the Marauder's themselves she was the only other person who as Sirius had put it "been graced with the honor to know how to use such a sophisticated, complicated and 'one of a kind' piece of magic"
James' look of suspicion quickly turned into a bright beaming smile as he moved to the side, letting them in.
"Pongs!" Y/N exclaimed looking up at James brightly, her hair turning a light shade of blue, signifying excitement.
"Y/N!" He said smiling widely and eagerly matching her level of excitement. Cassiopeia watched in amusement. "It's Prongs, with an 'err' " he said mimicking an 'r' sound.
