"Fortuna Major" Harry said.
"Oh just a moment!" The portrait of the Fat Lady said holding out a glass and singing at a very high pitch.
Students that stood outside the common room held their ears in horror as she continued to sing.
"Oh for Godric's sake- Fortuna Major" Y/N said walking up to the front.
"Just a moment!" The Fat Lady exclaimed and continued to screech.
Y/N rolled her eyes and cleared her throat "Fortuna Major" she said a bit louder.
"It's no use" Seamus said walking up, she's been doing this for the past 20 minutes."
Y/N walked closer to the portrait. "Open the door, i happen to know a real nice severing charm that could rip you in half" Y/N said putting her wand threateningly onto the portrait.
The Fat Lady gasped in horror and swings open the door.
"You shouldn't threaten the portraits" Hermione scolded as they walked in.
"I think it was brilliant" Harry said, "we would've been stuck there for Merlin knows how long"
"It's still wrong" Hermione said.
"And it's wrong for your bloody demon cat to attack scabbers! Yet you still have him" Ron said defensively. Hermione huffed sending an angered look towards Ron.
"Goodnight Harry, Y/N I'll see you upstairs" she walked off to the girls dorms.
"Night" Y/N said waving goodbye as she went off after Hermione.

"Up" Hermione said yanking the curtains to Y/N's bed open. Y/N's hand flew to cover her eyes from the light that seeped through the bright windows of Gryffindor tower. "It's nearly seven" Hermione said walking to her own bed and grabbing book flipping to the marked page.
Y/N sat up rubbing the tiredness away from her eyes. She looked around and noticed Parvati and Lavender were missing.
"Where are they?" Y/N asked. Hermione internally rolled her eyes at the mention of the two other roommates she was not very fond of.
"I overheard Lavender say that they were leaving early to watch Oliver Wood practice in the Quidditch pitch"
"Can't blame them" Y/N said with a small smirk.
"You too?" Hermione questioned, "I hardly see the appeal in large sweaty boys- Crookshanks no" she said pulling Crookshanks away from a loose thread he was clawing at. Y/N couldn't hide the look of amusement on her face.
"Large sweaty boys?" She questioned smirking. Hermione huffed,
"Will you get ready?" She said chucking a pillow in Y/N's direction.
"Alright I will" Y/N said pulling out a set of robes from her trunk and starting to neaten up her hair.
After getting changed Y/N grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder, her eye caught a glimpse of Hermione's schedule before she pulled it away protectively. Y/N's eyes widened at the amount of classes that Hermione was taking.
"Let me see your schedule" she said walking towards Hermione.
"Come on we're going to be late" Hermione said walking towards the door. Y/N managed the snatch the schedule from Hermione's hand.
