Y/N and Harry shared a glance and then they both sped down.

"Yes, that would be me." Sirius said, glancing behind her to try and catch a glimpse of Y/N and Harry.

"And I'm assuming that would make you.. Remus?" She asked, turning to look at him.

Remus smiled, "Pleasure to meet you Adelaine." Remus said, shaking her hand.

"Y/N has spoken plenty about you." Mrs. Rendall said smiling, as Sirius and Remus stepped into the house.

"All good things I hope?" Remus said kindly.

"Her favorite teacher, the best godfather, and her amazing new uncle Moony" Adelaine said, smiling as she led them a bit further into the house.

Remus felt his heart warm. "I'm glad I wasn't much of a disappointment"

Y/N rolled her eyes, stepping down the stairs, Harry beside her. "You've seriously got to stop thinking so little of yourself"

"We've been on this since 1st year Moony, you're quite literally the human example of perfection" said Sirius.

Remus too rolled his eyes. "How? I'm a w—"

Harry, Sirius, and Y/N all slightly widened their eyes and seized him into a hug.

"Missed you so much"

"Where have you been staying?"

"Can't believe it's been so long"

The three of them said at the same time.

Adelaine smiled "if you'll excuse me" she said kindly, "I'm sure you've got lots to catch up on, I'll go and make sure Thomas doesn't come bother" and with a small wave, she left.

The moment Adelaine was out of view, Sirius smacked Remus in the back of his head.

"Ouch."

"We're in a muggle house you dumbarse" Sirius said.

"Oh- I forgot" Remus said as Y/N led them further into the house.

It had been decorated to perfection, a large Christmas tree sat in the corner of the room with festive garlands swirled around the stair banisters, there were warm fairy lights hanging across the ceiling, four Christmas stockings hanging on the fireplace, a long table set out with all types of holiday treats.

And a singular mistletoe, strategically placed in front of a beautifully decorated wall where couples could be easily photographed.

Sirius and Remus both looked rather impressed as they sat on some cushioned chairs.

"Did you manage to use our precious little nickname on Snape?" Sirius asked, a grin forming onto his face.

"She got 2 months of detention for it and she turned Snape's hair green." Harry chimed in, grabbing a bowl of crisps and walking towards them with it.

"Slimy git." Sirius said, wanting to pummel Snape.

"I don't mind" Y/N shrugged, "his detentions are fun, at least for me" she grinned, "it's typically just me scrubbing cauldrons while pissing him off, oh! And you're right, he does hate when you call him stupid."
